Bryan Bouffier has moved into the lead of Rally di Roma Capitale after Alexey Lukyanuk retired from first place on today’s final stage.
Lukyanuk was in front by 8.4s starting the stage but his exit puts Bouffier into top over Kajetan Kajetanowicz by seven seconds ahead of Sunday’s final leg.
Łukasz Habaj, who was running behind Lukyanuk on the road, said: “The car was on the side of the road, the crew are okay but there was a wheel and shock absorber 100 metres before. The impact must have been quite heavy.”
With the stage halted, only a handful of drivers set representative times.
