Norbert Herczig is ready to start his FIA European Rally Championship campaign even if he admits to lacking knowledge of technical gravel events.
The Hungarian champion, who will drive for the MOL Racing Team in this year’s ERC, has more experience of faster gravel rallies from his homeland.
Speaking during testing on Monday, Herczig said: “It’s a little bit difficult for us because we have to use the [rally] car [for the test] and we also have to feel the car and the surface. We have two gravel rallies a year in Hungary but they use faster stages, here it is more tricky. But the car is ready and we’re ready.”
