Catie Munnings will call on advice from FIA European Rally Championship event winner Bryan Bouffier ahead of her PZM Rally Poland debut.
Munnings, from Great Britain, suffered a hand injury in a hefty crash on the French championship Rallye Mont-Blanc earlier this month.
Bouffier held a driving tuition session as part of the ERC Junior Experience training scheme and then-student Munnings paid plenty of attention as she revealed.
“He told me to have a goldish memory and learn to immediately forget a crash or anything that upsets your concentration during a stage,” said Munnings, part of the Saintéloc Junior Team. “I’ve worked a bit on that stuff since then so I’m definitely going to be back in the zone at the start of Rally Poland.”
Germany’s Anne Katharina Stein will be back co-driving Munnings in Poland after a clashing commitment to Julian Wagner meant Alba Sánchez stepped in for Barum Czech Rally Zlín.
