Perfect ERC weekend sets Griebel up for world run

Marijan Griebel’s big month continues on his home round of the world championship next week following the “perfect weekend” in Poland in early August.

Griebel won the FIA ERC Junior Under 28 category on Rally Rzeszow and will be back in his BRR-run ŠKODA Fabia R5 on Rallye Deutschland from 17-20 August when he will chase success in the WRC2 category.
Reflecting on his Poland success, Griebel said: “It was the perfect weekend for me. I was a bit disappointed in Spain because things were not running as we wanted but it was so much fun to drive this car on these stages. There were no mistakes, Stefan did a perfect job and the car was great. Things are getting better and better all the time and so far this season it has been really good. The main goal, the main focus [in Poland] was to win ERC Junior Under 28, not make any mistakes and focus on driving at my pace.”
