Record interest: ERC Rally Islas Canarias gets 120-car entry

A record 120 crews have entered next month’s Rally Islas Canarias, round two of the FIA European Rally Championship and the Abarth Rally Cup opener.
Featuring 30 top-of the-range R5 cars, the all-asphalt event from 2-4 May has attracted interest from 20 countries.
All current ERC category leaders are due to take part, while Pepe López, who tops the Spanish Asphalt standings following his opening round victory, is also set for action in Gran Canaria.
The full list of entries is due to be published by the event organisers at 14h00 local time on 22 April.
