Sergei Remennik needs more confidence in his battle to be faster on Latvia’s round of the FIA European Rally Championship.
Remennik is back on ERC duty on Rally Liepāja having not competed since mid-July or rallied on gravel since early June.
The Russian Performance Motorsport driver said: “It’s a bit slippery [second on the road] and I’m not confident with the car [because] it’s a big gap between the last gravel rally in Greece. They are really fast roads here and to be faster we need to keep training.”
Remennik is chasing ERC2 points alone on Rally Liepāja after Reinis Nitišs and Vytautas Švedas were prevented from starting due to fuel tank eligibility issues.
