Saintéloc Junior Team’s Cyprus Rally entry paid dividends with the French squad taking first place in the FIA European Rally Championship for Teams.
Strong results in two-wheel drive for Laurent Pellier and Catie Munnings earned Saintéloc Junior Team 40 points from the Larnaca-based event and a 13-point advantage over MOL Racing Team after the fourth round of the 2018 ERC season.
Russian Performance Motorsport had topped the table following the EKO Acropolis Rally, but a non-score from Alexey Lukyanuk – its lone representative in Cyprus – means it slips to third in the table, six behind MOL.
Q8 Oils Rally Team (26 points), Toksport WRT (18 points) and ACCR Czech Team (15 points) also scored well in Cyprus.
