The organisers of the Cyprus Rally, round four of the FIA European Rally Championship, have issued a statement as follows.

Stage 10 of the Cyprus Rally has been interrupted following an incident involving a competing car and a car belonging to a member of the public. There were no casualties and an investigation is under way to establish the circumstances.

Stage 11 has been cancelled for timing reasons.

The start time of SS12 will be advised in due course. No further comment will be made at this time.
