Javier Fernandez made it six European Figure Skating Championship titles in succession as he clinched victory on Friday in Moscow.
The Spaniard held off home favourite Dmitri Aliev, building on his lead in the short program for a final score of 295.55.
That was enough to finish more than 21 points clear of Aliev, with another Russian, Mikhail Kolyada in third.
Fernandez, who joins Karl Schafer as the only other man to win six straight European titles, had dominated the short program, scoring 103.82.
And he continued that rich vein of form with a similarly dominant display in the free skating component to seal the win.
Still only 26, he has now extended his dominance in Europe even further since his first title in Zagreb back in 2013.
Earlier in the day French pair Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron dominated the ice dance- short dance with a score of 81.29.
That puts them nearly six points clear of Russians Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin, with Italians Anna Cappellini and Luca Lannotte in third.
The competition finishes on Saturday with the free dance.
