ALGERIA ARE THROUGH. An easy, convincing win in the end, perhaps tempered by some dodgy refereeing calls early on which could have seen them concede penalties and - maybe - an early red card.

Algeria clear the ball off the line, desperate to keep their clean sheet record, and Ounas overruns his counter-attack down the right to give Guinea 1% of hope.
There are three minutes of indicated added time to come.
Kamano slides in at the back post to reach a low cross... no! He could have had a consolation, and the ball goes wide.
GOAL! Algeria 3-0 Guinea. Ounas scores - A first time pass from the right runs into the path of Ounas, who sticks out a leg to send it past a wrong-footed 'keeper.
Guedioura won't be sent off! Boudaoui is on in his place.
Bangoura is brought down after a direct run towards the box. Free kick for Guinea on the left of the box.
Kamano on for Yattara.
Mbolhi allows the ball to roll gently into his arms as he is content to waste time.
Ounas on for Belaili.
Diawara clips Benaili with a lazy foul. The game is essentially over now.
This is what could make Algeria favourites.
Bangoura is on now for Cisse.
Mahrez is slipped in down the right and fires in a low shot from a tight angle that Kone is able to block.
Sylla sends in a cross to the middle of the box, and the 'keeper is able to claim the ball and rest on the ground, allowing the game to run down just a little more.
- GoalRiyad MahrezAlgeria
GOAL! Algeria 2-0 Guinea. Mahrez scores - He brings down a cross from the left, taking Sylla out of the game, and sending the 'keeper the wrong way, he drills a shot into the corner.
Koita on for Kante.
Camara looks up, has room for a shot 25 yards out, and angles a shot at the top near corner that has to be beaten away and over. That was moving at a dangerous pace.
Kante, who has taken a few already, is booked for a wild lunge on Benamri.
Guedioura absolutely flies into a slide tackle on the left, and could have possibly handballed before pretending it hit his face. He is cruising for a second yellow, which is deeply foolish.
Algeria have started relatively positively but there is always a danger when only a goal up. Sylla sprints up the left but can't send in a cross.
Bounedjah is bundled over in the box, and it looks a clear penalty - but he's ruled offside. That is at best a marginal decision.

We go again.
- End of 1st Half
Mahrez fails to pick out Feghouli's run down the middle of the box, and that's the end of the half. see you in 15 minutes.
Traore does well to spin away from a marker, moves into space on his left foot, and blasts a shot miles wide from distance.
Belaili stabs at a shot, trying to lob the keeper over his head from the left-hand side of the box, but it drifts just over.
The game has lost the run of itself now, with both sides just pelting forward in one direction or another before just falling over.
Guinea break, but Algeria rush break and win the ball back. They manage their own counter until Feghouli's heavy touch sends the ball out of play on the right.
Dystream could have had a penalty there, when he's caught by an outstretched arm but the ref is not interested.
Guinea are searching for some rhythm now, with Algeria defending sturdily.
- GoalYoucef BelailiAlgeria
GOAL! Algeria 1-0 Guinea. Belaili scores - Belaili plays a ball into the box, he receives a lay-off from Bounedjah into his path, and curls a shot past Kone to the far post to put his side ahead.
Kone slaps a cross behind, and from the resulting corner he is more convincing. The ball is played back to the far post again though, and Bensebaini's bicycle kick is straight at the 'keeper and beaten away.
A dreadful miss. Bounedjah is picked out at the back post, he chests it down, and with only the 'keeper to beat just six yards out, he slaps the ball over the bar
Here's where things get awkward for Guedioura.
Kone collects a cross, and the game comes to a lull, but it appears Guedioura is out of trouble despite that earlier tackle. No punishment at all.
Guedioura could be in trouble here after another late challenge...
Guedioura is in the book now. He ran into Kante, barely, as Mandi nudged him in the back. That's a harsh yellow.
Kante has been caught again in the head, and he's gone down in real pain. Benamri really caught him in the temple, in the penalty box. That should be a penalty, and Guinea have been harshly done by twice so far.
Guedioura is teed up, and he smashes a low shot under the wall, and it is slightly deflected, but already going wide.
Free kick after a foul by Camara on Mahrez on the edge of the box. It was late and wild, and an obvious yellow. The free kick is centrally placed.
Mbolhi dithers over a potential back pass when he should be booting it long and he almost strikes the ball at the onrushing Kante, who could really have had a penalty. Bennacer, covering, smashed into the striker as he obstructed his path.
Belaili curls a free kick to the back post, but it curls wide and out of play.
- 1st Half
The match gets underway.
I'm predicting a 2-1 win for Guinea.
10 minutes to go so the national anthems will kick off shortly.
Whoever wins tonight will face Madagascar in the quarter finals, so should be relatively confident of a place in the semis.
Algeria are heavy favourites here. Not only do they have Riyad Mahrez, but Sofiane Feghouli is also capable of excellence.

We're into the first knockout rounds, so be prepared for some unambitious play as both sides look to take it to extra time.
