AND IT'S ALL OVER!
What a time for Mahrez to step up. Algeria are into their first final since 1990 thanks to a 95th-minute winner.
- GoalRiyad MahrezAlgeria
What a moment. What a free-kick. Mahrez curls his free-kick past Akpeyi.
It's the goalkeeper's side... but it's too powerful!
MAHREZ FIRES ALGERIA INTO THE FINAL!!!!!!
Free-kick to Algeria some 20 yards out just moments after Mahrez tried to weave his way through the Nigeria defence.
It's all down to this. A Mahrez (you would imagine) free-kick..........
OFF THE BAR! So close to a stunning winner.... but Bennacer's effort hits the bar and Nigeria live to fight another 30 minutes, it would seem.
Algeria knocking on the door...
FOUR minutes added on, which is pretty much the length it time for the VAR penalty to be awarded.
BIG CHANGE! Feghouli could play Mahrez in but as the defender backs away he opts for the shot instead, but leaning back he sends it well over. Mahrez with his arms outstretched, baffled.
OVER! Onyekuru takes a touch then fires over... his effort actually flicks off a defender but it's a goal-kick given. Let-off for Algeria.
Clock ticking down. A late winner would be nice...
Trouble in the stands, it would seem.
SAVE! Relatively routine for Mbolhi, but he does well to get down and keep Iwobi's effort from distance out.
We've seen fifth-set tie-breaks and Super Overs. Are we about to see extra-time for the second time in today's AFCON semis too?
- OffSamuel ChukwuezeNigeria
- OnHenry OnyekuruNigeria
First change of the evening. Here comes Henry Onyekuru.
Again. Have to say Mandi can have little to complain about. It took a while to reach the right decision, which as many people see as one of the biggest issues with VAR, but again, it came to the right decision. Could easily be four minutes added on from that incident alone...
Mandi still shaking his head but Algeria will have to put that moment behind them now.
Meanwhile, it's Ighalo's fourth goal of the tournament.
- Goal by penaltyOdion IghaloNigeria
NIGERIA ARE LEVEL!
Ighalo sends Mbolhi the wrong way!
Have to say Mandi does move his arm out to block Etebo's shot. Right decision in my opinion. Can Ighalo level from the spot??
- Yellow cardAïssa MandiAlgeria
PENALTY TO NIGERIA!
And he has booked Mandi...
The ball undoubtedly hits the arm of Mandi. The shot is going way wide, but that does not matter, and it does look like he moves his arm out a tad to block it...
This is taking a while...
Sarcastic applauding from Feghouli AFTER he gets a yellow for a foul on Etebo. Never a good idea to do that...
But more importantly, the referee is heading to the pitchside monitor to check for a possible handball. Penalty to Nigeria? Let's find out...
Just scrolling back down to make sure I'm not wrong, but there hasn't actually been a chance of note this half. Very cagey, after what was a pretty open first 45 too.
Into the final quarter of normal time...
Nigeria taking the game to Algeria now but still struggling to find a way through. Rock solid so far these Algerians.
The corner is claimed by Mbolhi just moments after the goalkeeper and the referee have a confrontation some centimetres apart. Will have found out what each other had for lunch there.
Have to say the referee looked like the aggressor too... Bizarre. And I'm not even sure what it was all about.
Not close enough from Iwobi as he shoots from 20 yards out but watches it trickle harmlessly wide. Nigeria just upping the ante somewhat and they have themselves a corner...
Guedioura is down after Musa stamps on his foot by accident. No intent, but no surprise to see the Algeria man take a while to get back to his feet.
You can see why Algeria have only conceded one goal all tournament. They're happy to sit back but Nigeria really struggling to break the line. Something will have to change.
Not long until we see a Nigeria change, surely? They're second best so far in the second half.
- Yellow cardBaghdad BounedjahAlgeria
First yellow of the evening as Bounedjah brings down Iwobi some 30 yards out. He protests, but there's no changing the referee's mind. Etebo over it... but it's an AWFUL pass and he does not find his intended target...
Algeria controlling possession and that'll suit them just nicely. Look more likely to score a second than Nigeria do getting that leveller.
Bennacer is off the pitch for a minute or so as he has to sort his socks out... Yup. He appears to have cut them in half and is only wearing the top half of the official socks so that he can wear his own pair underneath. Strange.
- 2nd Half
There goes the whistle. Back under way for the second half...

- End of 1st Half
Half-time and it's so far so good for Algeria, who are looking to reach their first final since winning the competition in 1990.
Just the one minute added on...
Killer blow just before half-time, can Nigeria strike back before we head to the break?
- Own-goalWilliam Troost-EkongNigeria
OWN GOAL! ALGERIA LEAD!
The man who put Nigeria into the semi-final has now scored an own goal! It's Mahrez with some trickery down the right, his cross deflects off Collins and then cannons off the chest of Troost-Ekong into his own goal... Ouch.
Ighalo takes a touch and goes for goal himself when it looks as though he should have played it over to Musa. That being said, he doesn't have eyes in the back of his head and it would have needed a touch of instinct/luck to know his team-mate was bearing down on goal.
CLOSE! So very nearly an own goal as Collins intercepts Bounedjah but almost ends up lobbing his own goalkeeper, but it hits the roof of the net and goes out for a corner.
Feghouli goes for the spectacular when the cross comes in but he gets his overhead kick all wrong.
All gone quiet again. Well, except the crowd.
Penalty? Just a goal-kick... Bounedjah is asking the question of the referee, but he's gone to ground a little too easy there under pressure from Ekong.
BIG SAVE! Huge let-off for Omeruo as the ball bounces past him and puts Bounedjah through on goal, but the Algeria striker's effort is too close to Akpeyi, who makes a vital stop.
And still, not much happening. Everyone just have a moment to catch your breath.
After a flurry of chances it's died down again a bit. Three-quarters of the match left and this is no time to push too hard yet.
From earlier, the moment which sent Senegal into the final...
Decent attack from Nigeria but it's kind of wasted as Musa tries his luck from 20 yards out, curling an effort into the arms of Mbolhi.
Chances at both ends now but Awaziem can only send his header over from a tight angle after a corner was played back.
OVER! It should be 1-0. Bennacer's cross is met by Bensebaini but he sends his free header a whisker over the bar.
Looks like VAR may have ruled him offside but alas, no need.
Belaili asking for a yellow after Awaziem drags him to the ground. Just a talking to, but it's a good chance for Algeria to get the ball into the box.
It was a strange bit of goalkeeping from Akpeyi to punch it to Bennacer in the first place, but it's a reprieve for the Nigeria goalkeeper.
Sustained pressure from Algeria but after Belaili fails to get a shot away it falls kindly for Bennacer who sees his effort blocked. Momentum has shifted somewhat in the past few minutes.
WIDE! But not quite sure how!? Belaili brings the ball down brilliantly then sends in a delightful cross which Bounedjah somehow bundles wide. Some confusion as to whether the linesman has signalled offside or a goal-kick, and though VAR would have allowed the goal to stand, it didn't go in the net. Crucially.
Nigeria on top in the early stages but it's been pretty scrappy in truth. Both sides know what's at stake and there is no room for error.
A reminder again that this one is live on Eurosport 1 and the Eurosport Player. If you've been watching sport all day like I have, why stop now...
Ighalo makes a meal of a challenge from Feghouli but it earns Nigeria a free-kick. However, the cross is disappointing and Algeria clear.
- 1st Half
And away we go! Tough one to call this. Algeria will be confident having conceded just one goal all tournament.... but the Super Eagles will believe they can soar into the Senegal showdown.
Here we go then. Teams out. Anthems done. Senegal await.
And finally - the Senegal report. A match packed with controversy....
And Algeria! Plenty of drama in this one... including a last-minute goalkeeper change which paid off in the shootout...
How Nigeria reached the last four...
How did they get here?
Nigeria surprisingly finished behind Madagascar in their group, but went on to beat holders Cameroon 3-2 in the last 16 before edging past South Africa 2-1 thanks to a last-minute winner.
Algeria meanwhile did not concede a goal until the last eight, having won all their group games and then beating Guinea 3-0 in the last 16 before squeezing past Ivory Coast on penalties after drawing 1-1.
And it will be Senegal that either Algeria or Nigeria will face in the final.
It's heartbreak for Tunisia as as Bronn own goal in extra-time is enough to send Senegal through after a crazy encounter.
See how it unfolded below...
