FIVE MINUTES UNTIL KICK OFF
We could be about to witness David beat Goliath in Yaounde. Or, more likely, a thumping victory for Cameroon. Let's see.

ALHADHUR IN GOAL FOR COMOROS
In the news that we've all been waiting for, Comoros have confirmed that Chaker Alhadhur will play in goal this evening. The Ajaccio left-back gets the nod following an injury to first-choice goalkeeper Salim Ben Boina, with back-ups Moyadh Ousseini and Ali Ahamada subsequently testing positive for Covid. That will make things incredibly difficult for Les Coelacantes, who reached the last 16 as one of the best third-placed sides thanks to a shock 3-2 win against Ghana in their final group game. If they repeat the trick tonight it will be one of the greatest underdog stories in AFCON's history.

CAMEROON THE OVERWHELMING FAVOURITES
Even without Comoros' goalkeeping crisis, this was always going to be a mismatch. Not only are Cameroon the hosts, they are 50th in the FIFA rankings while Comoros are 132nd. Unbeaten in the group stage, the Indomitable Lions breezed through to the knockout rounds with wins against Burkina Faso and Ethiopia and a draw against Cape Verde. They will be confident of progressing to the quarter-finals, not least because their opponents will essentially be playing rush goalie.

CAN COMOROS UPSET THE ODDS?
Hello and welcome to this evening's coverage of Cameroon's AFCON last-16 clash against Comoros in Yaounde. You may have heard, but it looks like Comoros are going to have to start an outfield player in goal. As such, if they beat the tournament hosts, it will be a bona fide footballing miracle.
