Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the latest installment of the African Cup of Nations as DR Congo take on Morocco in Group C. Congo’s preparations for the tournament in Gabon have been anything but smooth, with a row over unpaid player bonuses hindering plans considerably. The players even went on strike on Friday, and refused to train. Hardly Ideal. Morocco coach Herve Renard won the tournament with the Ivory Coast last year, so he has all the knowhow to succeed. I’m Pete Hall, and I will be bringing you the action, as it happens, live!

Really, really poor effort from a free-kick in a great position by Carcela-Gonzalez. Got well underneath it, and that will never trouble the goalkeeper.

Here is that change for Congo, with Joyce Lomalisa replacing the injured N'Sakala.

N'Sakala leaves the pitch on a stretcher, but no sign of a change for Congo yet.
62'
Delay in play as N'Sakala receives some treatment. His team-mates look worried. Injury seems unclear.
61'
Really worrying for Morocco. Since the first few minutes, they have created very, very little.

Just maybe...

Bouhaddouz has a snapshot on the turn, but that is always going wide. The Atlas Lions need to go direct here.

Morocco look shell-shocked. They have dominated for large spells of this, but their lack of potency has been punished.

It really was an awful error from Munir, who used his feet to block a Ndombe cross, with the loose ball falling to Kabananga, who made no mistake on the turn. Dreadful goalkeeping.

GOAL! DR Congo 1-0 Morocco. Howler from Munir allows Kabananga to open the scoring.

Both benches are getting a little bit agitated now, too. The scrappy nature of this cannot be helping the mood of both camps.
51'
Munir goes up for the ball with Zakuani, and earns himself a free-kick. Any contact on goalkeepers these days...

Morocco again exert their superiority on this encounter. They have to make this pressure count. A win takes them to the top of Group C!

Carcela-Gonzalez gets a set of studs imprinted on his ankle after a challenge from Tisserand. The referee has his yellow card out, but books N'Sakala! Mistaken identity!

Former Aston Villa midfielder El Ahmadi carries the ball into the box, Congo just about clear, the ball is looped back into the Leopards' box, Matampi makes a hash of gathering, before it is scrambled clear.

We are back under way here. Let's hope as the game wears on, it opens up a little more.

Morocco really should have done more with the amount of possession they've had.

HT: DR Congo 0-0 Morocco. Still we await our first goal of the day in the AFCON. Boussoufa thought he had found the net from distance early on, but saw his effort come back off the crossbar. Very little other goalmouth action for fans to get excited about here.

One minute of added time...

Ndombe tries to force the ball into the path of Bakumbu, but he does not get enough on it, and the danger passes. Great opportunity to create an opening.
