DRC are starting to impose themselves, and Mubele shimmies inside Boukari, who trips him; free-kick, wide on the right, and in it goes looking for Kebano at the near post. He ducks into a flick, but it then plays Adebayor, on forehead and arm. There are shouts for a penalty, but it came at him too quickly for that.

Excellent from Mbemba, winning the ball down the left and sliding forwards for Kabananga; it looks a useful pass until it seems to gather pace off the turf, and Tchagouni hurries out to smother at his feet.
11'
Adebayor is all over the place, and he comes off the front to lay back a short pass for Dossevi; he spreads left to Boukari, unmarked again. But before he can cross, he's flagged offisde.
9'
Tchagouni runs along the by-line to volley clear, tickles it, misses again, and has to accept treatment after jarring his knee. Seriously.
8'
First flash of DRC, Mbemba going down the right and crossing for Kabananga, who can't quite reach it.
6'
Excellent pressure from Ayite, Boukari and Adebayor, ganging up on Issama, who again does just enough, this time winning a free-kick.
5'
Adebayor barrels down the left - he looks in the mood, alright - and Issama does just enough to slide in in front of him. DRC have barely done anything yet.
4'
Lovely from Boukari, stepping inside onto his right foot, albeit under no pressure, and curving a lovely ball into the middle, where Adebayor rises between the centre-backs. But he can't quite connect - it was a fraction too high.
3'
This pitch is probably the tournament's worst, but they've wet the top soil to give the ball a little more zip.
3'
We've started quietly, but Togo are pushing the pace, such that it is.

Well though he's played, Emmanuel Adebayor has yet to score in this tournament; surely he'll have to tonight if his team are to get through.

And off we go!
19:00
The Togo players go to thanks their fans before the game starts, but we're now ready to go.

I should mention that Agassa, the Togo goalie, has gone home after his house was vandalised as punishment for a relatively poor performance against Morocco. Dearie me; he's replaced by Tchagouni.
18:56
Of course, one thing this group might help us to is a quarter-final between Ivory Coast and Ghana. Gulp.
18:54
Out come the teams!
18:51
"What do you think the score will be?" I don't hear you ask. Well, I'm leaning towards a few goals, given Togo's need to win; I'd go 3-1 DRC.
18:50
By the looks of things, DRC will play a 4-5-1, with Togo arranged in 4-2-3-1.
18:41
If DRC can pull this off, it'd be quite some effort, given a strong group and the absence of Yannick Bolasie. And if they can somehow see Ivory Coast away, they'd be doing the rest of the field a favour in the process.

Teams!

So, let's have some permutations:
Should DRC win, they will top the group; should they lose or draw, they will top the group, provided Morocco and Ivory Coast draw.
Should Togo win, they will qualify only if Morocco and Ivory Coast draw; a positive result in that game sends them through.
