TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations / Group Stage
Stade d'Oyem / 25.01.2017
End of 2nd Half
The referee blows the final whistle at Oyem, and it ends 1-1. That is Uganda's first point in the Cup of Nations since 1978, but Milutin Sredojevic's side still finish bottom. Mali finish third and go out as well, with two points from their three matches.
Kalifa Coulibaly is furious again as Uganda goalkeeper Odongkara again goes down for treatment.
Yatabare tries a flick and shot from 40 yards that sails over the bar. Uganda bring on Michael Azira for Aucho for injury-time.
CHANCE: Mustapha Yatabare drops off his defender and gets onto a long ball into the box, but he cannot direct his volley on target.
Uganda win a goal-kick, after Ousmane Coulibaly and Bissouma combine down the right and the cross comes back off a Uganda defender and on to Coulibaly.
More Uganda timewasting, to the frustration of Kalifa Coulibaly, as Aucho goes down for treatment after getting banged on the head.
Iguma leaves Bissouma's angled cross from the right, and it is so close to being converted at the far post by Kalifa Coulibaly.
Wasswa clears after Doumbia is unable to control the ball in the box.
Wasswa is down, and Uganda are furious at the push by Yatabare. But it seemed very harmless. More timewasting, which suggests Uganda are happy with the point.
An early ball into the box, but Kalifa Coulibaly heads over from close range.
Uganda goalkeeper Robert Odongkara obviously hasn't got the message about going for the win - he is booked for timewasting!
And Mali makes a change as well, with Mustapha Yatabare replacing Marega in the forward line. Both sides keen to go for the win now.
Geoffrey Massa replaces Luwagga Kizito, as Uganda chase a winner.
GOAL: Mali 1-1 Uganda. Bissouma nets the equaliser with a brilliant free-kick from maybe 35 yards.
That is the Standard Liege midfielder's 17th goal for his country, in his 43rd appearance.
And, with Egypt leading Ghana, that looks like elimination for Mali.
GOAL: Mali 0-1 Uganda. Miya shoots first time from the edge of the box, and nets a screamer, Uganda's first AFCON goal since 1978!
Uganda have a goal disallowed. Mawejje thought he had scored, but the referee seemed to rule it out for offside as the ball flicks off Ochaya as it arrows towards goal.
Doumbia whacks Aucho's left calf, so he goes off for some treatment.
Poor decison making from Bissouma, running at the Uganda defence when a pass to Kalifa Coulibaly might have been the better option.
