Arsenal fans hijack four Sky Sports polls, vote Gabriel Paulista 'best signing of the transfer

The polls were open to thousands of viewers and supporters but it appears that the Gunners' online faithful have shown their power by flocking to vote via Twitter.

Sky Sports News HQ have run several specific polls over the past few weeks and asked viewers to have their say by voting using hashtagging their answer.

And the results are more than telling. Gabriel Paulista is apparently the 'best signing of the transfer window', Yaya Sanogo 'will prove to be the best signing' (essentially the same poll but ran earlier) and Alexis Sanchez is the 'player of the season so far' (slightly more realistic).

But it doesn't stop there.

It appears the Arsenal fans even put their stamp on arch-rivals Tottenham after it was revealed that Sheffield United were 59 per cent favourites to reach the League Cup final!
