Jupp Heynckes: Real Madrid have no chance of signing Robert Lewandowski

Bayern Munich manager Jupp Heynckes believes Real Madrid have no chance of signing Robert Lewandowski.

There has been speculation for much of 2018 that Real Madrid want the 29-year-old Polish striker to lead the line for them next season.

However, Bayern Munich are reluctant to sell, with Karl-Heinz Rummenigge stating that they would not countenance a sale.

In a press conference before Bayern's Champions League quarter-final against Sevilla, interim boss Heynckes repeated that assurance, saying:

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has already made this clear: Real Madrid have absolutely no chance of acquiring Robert.

Bayern's first leg against Sevilla will take place on Tuesday evening at Sevilla's Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium.
