Full time! It's yet another Der Klassiker victory for Bayern! There was plenty of drama and excitement, but once again Dortmund have come up short against their fierce rivals!
Guerriero has been amazing today, and he delivers another cross from the left, finding Bellingham. His header is never troubling Neuer, though. Was that Dortmund's final chance?
Goal ruled out! Lewandowski thinks he has sealed the points as his deflected shot beats Burki, but he's adjudged to be narrowly offside, again.
Yellow card! Witsel goes into the book for clattering Martinez.
There will be FIVE minutes of added time!
What a chance for Dortmund! Guerriero lifts a cross into the box and surely this is the moment... but Reus volleys over from 10 yards out! Will they get a better opportunity?
Five minutes for Dortmund to find a leveller!
- GoalErling HaalandBorussia Dortmund
GOAL! Dortmund 2 (Erling Haaland) Bayern Munich 3: This one perhaps isn't done just yet! Guerriero lifts a glorious pass over the top of the high Bayern defence, Haaland's first touch sets him up and he finishes with aplomb!
- Yellow cardRobert LewandowskiFC Bayern Munich
Yellow card! Lewandowski goes into the book.
- GoalLeroy SanéFC Bayern Munich
GOAL! Dortmund 1-3 Bayern Munich (Leroy Sane): A counter-attack goal straight from the textbook! With Dortmund throwing numbers forward in desperate search of an equaliser, Bayern break to devastating effect. Lewandowski turns creator, playing in Sane who checks inside and curls a shot past Burki.
The game has dropped in tempo somewhat, but it feels like there's another goal in this contest.
Bayern are eager to finish this. Gnabry carves inside and shoots, but it flashes just wide of goal
This game is ebbing and flowing, and the next goal is so, so important. Goretzka finds Lewandowski on the right. His cross-cum-shot looks to be creeping in but with Burki scrambling, it lands on the roof of the net!
Hazard is immediately involved, latching onto Meunier's cut-back. His volley is comfortable for Neuer, but Dortmund are asking all of the questions now.
- OffGiovanni ReynaBorussia Dortmund

Double Dortmund sub: Sancho and Reyna make way for Thorgan Hazard and Julian Brandt
- OffKingsley ComanFC Bayern Munich
- OnLeroy SanéFC Bayern Munich
Double Bayern sub: Leroy Sane and Javi Martinez replace Coman and Boateng.
Save! You'd expect Neuer to make the save, but this is a chance for Dortmund, as Reus is released through on goal but shoots low at the near post.
Dortmund chance! Reyna pounces on a poor defensive header from Sarr and races into the box with only one thing on his mind. But he doesn't generate enough power in his shot to beat Neuer, who smothers.
Dortmund sub: A first taste of Der Klassiker for Bellingham, who replaces Delaney.
Coman gets in behind the full-back Guerriero but can't test Burki. Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham is warming up for Dortmnd.
It was billed as a battle of Haaland and Lewandowski, and it's safe to say the latter is winning so far.
Another opportunity for Haaland! He exchanges passes with Reus to create the chance for a shot, but Boateng gets a touch on it to take it behind for a corner.
Haaland chance! The Norwegian races onto Guerreiro's ball over the top, using his strength to beat Boateng. And from a tight angle, he fires into the side-netting. It was a real chance, but his blushes are spared thanks to the offside flag.
Coman strikes the post! Dortmund are riding their luck now! The hosts back off Coman, who, from 20 yards, rifles a powerful low shot at goal. Burki is stretching and isn't getting there. It smashes off the post and Dortmund survive!
- GoalRobert LewandowskiFC Bayern Munich
GOAL! Dortmund 1-2 Bayern Munich (Robert Lewandowski): Lewandowski finds the net again - and there's no doubt about this one! Hernandez stands up a cross to find the Poland talisman. It's far from a straight forward finish but with beautiful technique, he glances his header past Burki into the far corner!
Dortmund go close! Sancho releases Haaland with a beautiful reverse pass. The Dortmund players are queuing up to finish in the box but the Norwegian striker gets too much on his cross and the chance goes begging!
Kick-off! Dortmund get us underway in the second half!
- End of 1st Half
Half-time: It's Dortmund 1-1 Bayern at the break!
- GoalDavid AlabaFC Bayern Munich
GOAL! Dortmund 1-1 Bayern Munich (David Alaba): What a strike from Alaba to level the scores! Gnabry knocks the free-kick short to Muller, who stops it and Alaba curls it into the net, via a deflection off Meunier!
- Yellow cardThomas DelaneyBorussia Dortmund
Free-kick and yellow card! Delaney goes into the book for a foul on Gnabry, and Bayern have a dangerous free-kick late in this first half to equalise.
Three minutes of added time to play!
- GoalMarco ReusBorussia Dortmund
GOAL! Dortmund 1 (Marco Reus) Bayern Munich 0: Right on the stroke of half time, we have lift off! Sancho is at the heart of it, sending Guerreiro into the box and he cuts it back for Reus who rifles it past Neuer!
Dortmund chance! Sancho's floated cross finds the unmarked Witsel at the far post. This is a huge chance, but it falls to the wrong man as he side-foots it well wide!
Muller's cross from the right picks out Coman. But he fails to generate enough power in his header to test Burki.
- OffJoshua KimmichFC Bayern Munich
- OnCorentin TolissoFC Bayern Munich
A huge blow for Bayern as Kimmich limps off to be replaced by Coretin Tolisso.
Yellow card and injury! Kimmich makes a very cynical foul on Haaland to stop the Dortmund forward in his tracks close to the centre circle. He's booked, but that could also be a straight red. That is naughty, and Kimmich has hurt himself in the process and may have to go off!
Block! Alaba smashes a free-kick into the Dortmund wall. It comes back to Gnabry, whose shot is more purposeful. Again, it's blocked, this time by Hummels.
With Coman well positioned to convert, Akanji gets a crucial touch on a cross from the left flank to deny Bayern.
You can't take your eyes off this one! Dortmund are on the move on the counter-attack with frightening pace. Haaland switches it to Meunier on the overlap on the right. But his shot is charged down by Hernandez.
Gnabry stands up a cross to the back post where Coman leaps like a salmon to attack it in the form of a header. Dortmund survive, though.
Burki save! Goretzka catches a volley sweetly, it takes a slight deflection making it awkward for Burki, who does well to parry it clear. Bayern are knocking on the door now.
It's NOT going to count! Lewandowski is adjudged to be in an offside position when the ball is played. It's the closest of calls. It's still goalless!
Wait, it's going to VAR. Was Lewandowski offside?!
GOAL! Dortmund 0-1 Bayern Munich (Robert Lewandowski): It's that man Lewandowski again! The former Dortmund player gives the visitors the lead against the run of play! Head down, Gnabry's blistering pace takes him past Meunier and he rolls a lovely ball across the face of goal and Lewandowski, on the slide, does the rest!
Huge chance for Haaland! Delaney's gorgeous pass on the valley sets up Reyna in a two-vs-two situation for Dortmund. He has Haaland in support, sending the Norwegian through on goal with a perfectly-weighted pass. But so uncharacteristically, Haaland spurns a gilt-edged chance, dinking it over Neuer but wide of goal.
Clever movement from Haaland as he races onto Reus' through ball. Full of confidence, he tries a first-time shot from the left hand side of the penalty area but drags it badly wide. That's closer to corner-flag than goal.
Haaland looks to release Reyna, but the Dortmund target man controls the ball with his arm and Bayern get away with one.
Burki save! Delaney clears Bayern's corner, but only as far as Boateng, who curls an inch-perfect cross to the back post. Goretzka's bullet header is straight at Burki, who parries the ball clear.
Coman, operating on the right flank, carves inside and wins Bayern their first corner of the evening.
Bayern are playing a high defence, so Dortmund's gameplan is to play balls over the top in the hope of releasing Haaland, Reyna or Reus. This time it's Haaland on the chase a long ball is played out of defence, but Neuer is off his line to head to safety.
After a high octane start, the tempo has been lowered slightly as both clubs catch their breath.
Kimmich, as ever, is eager to track back and win the ball back for Bayern in a bid to stall the early momentum Dortmund are building.
Brilliant play from Haaland to release Reyna in behind the Bayern defence, left of centre. With no sight at goal, he plays it back to Guerreiro, who tees up Witsel and he drags his shot well wide.
End to end action here at Signal Iduna Park! Sancho finds Delaney, who releases Haaland. He's forced wide and tries to cut it back for a team mate, but Neuer is alert to the danger and smothers.
Lewandowski should score! After just 40 seconds, Bayern ought to be in the lead! Hernandez whips a cross towards the near post, Akanji heads it into the path of Gnabry, and Lewandowski takes over, striking at the side-netting. But he should have done better!

Kick-off! Bayern get us underway in the Klassiker!
FIVE minutes until kick-off! It's Borussia Dortmund versus Bayern Munich in this huge Bundesliga clash, it's LIVE and it's NEXT!
RB Leipzig have gone top of Bundesliga after a 3-0 victory over SC Freiburg, a point above both Bayern and Dortmund, in second and third respectively.
These sides last met in September, with Bayern coming out on top - as they usually do - to claim the DFL-Supercup.
Did you know? Bayern Munich have scored at least two goals in 10 of their last 12 matches against Borussia Dortmund in all competitions.
Dortmund have kept a clean sheet in each of their last four Bundesliga matches, conceding just two goals so far this term. Their defence will be sorely tested today, though, against a free-flowing Bayern attack, led by Lewandowski, who already has 10 goals to his name.
Hansi Flick, Bayern coach: "Dortmund have an outstanding team. They have one of the best defences in the Bundesliga, a lot of quality up front and they are dangerous once they win possession. It's important that we play as a team. It's Der Klassiker, so everybody will be motivated. We know the whole world will be watching, which will spur us on even more. We are confident and will do everything we can to win the game."
Lucien Favre, Dortmund coach: "We’re focussing on ourselves and are looking forward to the game. Bayern are on the whole very good. They press high and take risks. Of course, that has its positives but also some negatives. The last two games against Bayern were good. We need to put in an even better performance and defend very well.”
Jerome Boateng comes in to the Bayern back four, replacing Niklas Sule, who is in isolation. Lucas Hernandez continues at left-back in the absence of Alphonso Davies, and Leon Goretzka returns after recovering from a calf strain. Robert Lewandowski was rested in the 6-2 victory over RB Salzburg in preparation for today. Leroy Sane is on the bench.
Mats Hummels returns to the Dortmund defence after missing the 3-0 victory in Brugge in midweek, while Giovanni Reyna makes his first start in Der Klassiker. Erling Haaland, fresh from hitting a brace on Wednesday night, spearheads the attack, flanked by Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus.
Teams in full: Dortmund XI: Bürki, Meunier, Akanji, Hummels, Guerreiro, Witsel, Delaney, Sancho, Reus, Reyna, Haaland.. subs: Hitz, Morey, Piszczek, Dahoud, Hazard, Brandt, Bellingham, Can, Passlack /// Bayern Munich XI: Neuer, Sarr, Boateng, Alaba, Hernandez, Kimmich, Goretzka, Gnabry, Müller, Coman, Lewandowski.. subs: Nübel, Richards, Martinez, Roca, Tolisso, Musiala, Sane, Costa, Choupo-Moting.
