Augsburg move out of the Bundesliga relegation zone after producing a shock 2-1 win over champions Bayern Munich. Mads Pedersen's first Augsburg goal and Andre Hahn's thumping header gave the hosts a first-half lead and although Lewandowski replied to Hahn's goal two minutes later, Augsburg hold on for an important victory.

Augsburg have barely attacked in the second half but defensively they have been so solid. They are so close to producing a fantastic victory in front of their own fans at WWK Arena.

SHOT! Nianzou fires a shot on goal from just outside the box, but he fires it harmlessly over the bar. That was a disappointing effort to say the least.

Bayern are continuing to pressure but Augsburg are keeping the champions at bay. However, Augsburg are getting deeper and deeper.

CRUCIAL SAVE! Lewandowski engineers some space inside the box and fires a shot on goal which Gikiewicz parries away! It comes out to Davies but he blasts the rebound over the bar!

Oxford shields the ball away from Muller and Augsburg have a goal-kick. YELLOW! For Framberger for unsportsmanlike conduct. He shoves Musiala over from behind. A booking was inevitable.

Choupo-Moting's cross into the box is haeded clear by Gumny with Lewandowski waiting to pounce just behind him. The following corner is cleared by Oxford.

SUBS! For Augsburg, Moravek and Gruezo come on for Dorsch and Pedersen.

BIG CHANCE! Davies opens up some space and moves the ball onto his left foot, but his low strike rolls past Gikiewicz's left post!

Bayern have had a few half chances this half but nothing to really test Gikiewicz. The reality is they have been flat and Augsburg fans will be delighted with how their team have stifled the Bundesliga champions so far.

A few tough challenges fly in including one from Hernandez on Iago, but referee Siebert is not to worried about that. He is more concerned about Iago being offside. Moments later, Davies' low cross into the box is gathered by Gikiewicz.
