Griezmann urges Atletico to keep their feet on the ground

Griezmann scored the decisive goal at Bayern Munich to give Atletico victory on away goals after a 1-0 first leg win and 2-1 second leg defeat.

Xabi Alonso had given Pep Guardiola's side a first-half lead, before the French international broke away to equalize.

Robert Lewandowski gave the home side the lead but they were unable to find another to put them through, after Fernando Torres missed a late penalty.

Speaking to AS, Griezmann said: “We are happy. It was a difficult, difficult game. We had a great team in front of us and had to defend and score the one chance we were going to have. We did it.

“The best team wins. Bayern were better in this match but we won in the first leg. We scored here and that was important.

“We have to keep our feet on the ground, focus on La Liga and the final and then we’ll have time to think about it.”
