The half-time whistle goes and the Estadio da Luz quietly claps the players from the pitch. Benfica had hope after Raul Jimenez's goal, but Arturo Vidal has put Bayern firmly in the driving seat. I'll bring you all of the second half action after the break.

Neuer is calmness personified as he plays a series of short passes out from the back as the Benfica shirts move ever closer. It's the Guardiola way, but eventually the keeper is forced to clear it long.

The atmosphere is much more subdued since Bayern's equaliser, with the fans well aware that their side really couldn't afford to concede in the first half. It's going to take a monumental effort for Benfica to progress from here.

Kimmich goes down clutching his foot after a 50-50 challenge. He's up and hobbling, but there wasn't much in the challenge and the ref doesn't award a free-kick.

Lahm is found in space yet again down the right. Benfica need to find a way to shut their left flank down, because it's where the visitors are getting all of their joy.

That means it's 2-1 to Bayern on aggregate, with Benfica now needing to win outright due to the visitors' away goal.

Vidal could barely have hit his shot any harder. He had a close to open goal to aim for, but wasn't taking any chances.
