The game has yet to spark into life in all honesty. It's going very much to the game-plan for the visitors, but that's not particularly entertaining for any neutrals.

Benfica launch a rare foray into the Bayern half, but it's snuffed out before they can even think about threatening Neuer. It must be exhausting to player against this Bayern side.

Vidal manages to get a header on target from a looping cross, but it's a comfortable save for the keeper.

Costa and Lahm combine down the right and the latter pulls the ball back into the danger area, but a swarm of red-shirted defenders pounce to snuff out the chance. It's all very congested in the Benfica half... which is essentially where the game is being played.

Bayern are looking to stretch Benfica as much as possible, doubling up in wide areas and attempting to isolate the full-backs. With so little space to work with in central midfield it's a clever way to try and open the game up a little.

Alaba slides in a teasing cross, but it's too close to the keeper and Ederson claims with ease.
