This is much better from City. Aguero is played in down the right and makes himself a yard of space to drill in a shot that flies narrowly past the far post.

Dynamo have really struggled to cope with City's midfield since their half-time change of system, which maybe, just maybe, explains why they were less than keen to go gung-ho from the off tonight. (Robbie 'why don't they try' Savage, I'm looking at you.)

Aguero injects a bit of pace into proceedings and wins City a free-kick in a dangerous area.

The travelling fans are making their own entertainment, bouncing up and down and persuading the City fans to join them in making a bit of noise. Will it inspire an increased tempo on the pitch? Let's hope.

Dynamo may have gone two up top, but they are struggling to get hold of the ball at the moment. City are doing their best to take any possible sting out of the game.

Presumably the plan from Dynamo was to keep it tight in the first half and make sure they didn't concede another before giving it a real go in the final 45 minutes of the tie. If that was the plan then it's working, now for the tricky bit... scoring three goals.

González is on for Teodorczyk for Kiev, making it two up top for the visitors.
