Hello and welcome to our LIVE text commentary of Manchester City's crucial Champions League quarter-final second leg with Paris Saint-Germain from the Etihad. It's advantage City after last week's 2-2 draw in Paris, but don't rule out the Parisiens just yet. They've already tasted success this side of the channel this season - a 2-1 win at Chelsea in the last round - and with City's rearguard more than vulnerable, this could go either way. I'm Pete Hall (@PeteHall86), and I will be bringing you the action, as it happens, live!

Big night here, and the tension is palpable. Both teams giving the ball away too easily early on.

Jesus Navas is so one-dimensional, but he is seeing plenty of the ball at the moment. Fires low again, but it is cleared.

City on the attack from the off, with Kevin De Bruyne firing the ball low into the middle, but PSG just about clear.

We are under way here. It does appear PSG are lining up with three at the back. First goal could be key.

Surely not...

82 per cent of teams who drew 2-2 away in the first leg of Champions League ties progressed to the next round - can City continue the trend? We are moments away!

UNCHARTED WATERS: The last time either of these two were in the last four of Europe's premier competition, Michael Jordan was making his comeback in the NBA, Blackburn Rovers were on their way to becoming Premier League champions and John Major was Prime Minister. City have never made it past this the quarter-finals in their entire history, while PSG last graced the semi-finals in the year that was 1995.

With such a leaky backline, City may have to turn to their talismanic Argentine once more to dig them out of a hole. Sergio Aguero is fit to start, and has netted in 16 goals in his past 19 Champions League starts. But City don't rely solely on Aguero for goals, as their last seven in the Champions League have been scored by seven different players.

BAD OMEN! PSG have scored two goals or more in all of their past five Champions League games and City have kept only one clean sheet in their nine Champions League games so far this season.

RESHUFFLE! For PSG, there's no Blaise Matuidi and David Luiz tonight. The duo picked up bookings in Paris ruling them out of this clash, and Laurent Blanc has accommodated for such a loss by opting for what appears to be a 3-5-2 system. Blanc is starting Gregory Van der Wiel and Marquinhos and with right-back Serge Aurier in the starting XI, it will be interesting to see where Van der Wiel lines up. Only Kevin Trapp and Marquinhos played at the weekend.

BIG GUNS BACK! Manuel Pellegrini rested several stars in the weekend win over West Brom, and makes five changes for this battle of the mega-rich. Kevin De Bruyne, Gael Clichy, David Silva, Bacary Sagna and Fernandinho return to the starting XI, while Wilfried Bony, Samir Nasri, Fabian Delph, Aleksandar Kolarov and Pablo Zabaleta make way.
It's the same side that earned the impressive draw in the French capital.
