Attack versus defence - or so much more?
Real Madrid need one more goal to become the first team to score 500 in the UEFA Champions League (group stage to final). Will their irresistible force do the business against Juve's immovable object?
Zidane: “I don’t think you can say Juve defend better and Real Madrid attack better than Juve, but finals are there to be played. There’s not much difference between the two teams, that’s why we got to the final. We’ve done the hardest thing, which is getting to the final, we’ve done it well and we’re happy. Then there are no favourites in a final, they have a good team but it’s 50-50. We just want to play a great game and then we’ll see what happens."
Massimiliano Allegri: "We must be optimistic but it does not seem fair to say that Juventus will be the favourites. Real are in their third final in four years and are used to playing in them, even though we have been there twice in three years. It will be a wonderful event and we deserve to be there."
Will it be another big night for this man? He's saved his best for this stage this season.
In tribute to Buffon, who could finally win the Champions League with Juventus, we take a look at some of the more obscure number ones to have featured before him. Can you name them? I got 9/10 and fell at the last hurdle!
A vibrant atmosphere is building in the stadium.
This is the 19th encounter between Juventus and Real Madrid - all in the European Cup/Champions League, making this the second-most played fixture in the history of the tournament after Bayern Munich v Real Madrid (24).
