Jose Mourinho turns tables on journalist during Manchester United press conference

Speaking ahead of United’s Champions League tie with Valencia on Tuesday night, Mourinho was asked by a Spanish journalist about a report that Zinedine Zidane had called him to reassure Mourinho that he did not want his job.

And luckily enough for the United manager, the man who asked the question was sitting right in front of the man who wrote the story: Sun journalist Neil Custis.

So Mourinho took the chance to tell the Spanish journalist to get the answer direct from the horse’s mouth.

Kudos to Custis for backing his story – even as Mourinho joked that the Sun reporter had put a “bug” on his phone.
