It's all over at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea go top of Champions League Group C with an emphatic 6-0 win. Conte's side never looked in danger - Qarabag will struggle for a meaningful result in this group.

To their credit, Qarabag are trying to push forward in the dying minutes. Medetov breaks free but is unable to keep the ball in play at the touchline.

Willian has been very lively tonight. He charges into the box but is dispossessed and the ball bobbles out for a throw-in.

The sixth goal attributed to Batshuayi has now been attributed to a Medvedev own goal. A wicked deflection.

As the home side sit back and the visitors look for a consolation, Willian dispossesses Huseynov on the edge of the area.

CHANCE! A QARABAG CHANCE! Ndlovu is fed an aerial ball on the edge of the area, but his shot rises a little too high over the bar.

Qarabag helping Chelsea spread the goals around tonight.

Eden Hazard beats his man beautifully inside his own half and makes a run all the way into the opposition box. It comes to nothing but it was a brief taste of Belgian magic.

It was a comedy of errors leading to that sixth goal, as two separate Qarabag defenders hit a pass into Zappacosta in the build-up. The Azerbaijani side will be willing the final whistle.

GOAL: It's six. Batshuayi has his second of the night as Zappacosta wins the ball on the left flank and rolls in an easy assist.

Qarabag's defending leaves an awful lot to be desired tonight - they operated a "no marking policy" on at least three of the goals. It doesn't feel like Chelsea have needed to get out of third gear.

SUB: Pedro Henrique is replaced by Tarik Elyounoussi.

Despite the hammering and the rain, Qarabag's fans at The Bridge appear cheerful. Regardless of the outcome of their campaign, they're going to enjoy some lovely trips to Madrid and Rome.

GOAL: Batshuayi makes it five! Bakayoko intercepts a lazy Qarabag pass 30 yards from goal and puts it in the path of Michy. This is too easy now.

Diego who?

SUB: Antonio Rudiger replaces the scorer of the third goal, Azpilicueta.

Double substitution for Qarabag: Medetov and Diniyev for Sadıqov and Qarayev.

Bakayoko's strike deflected off of Huseynov's boot. The Chelsea midfielder received the ball in the box from a Fabregas cross. Cesc has been involved in a lot of the action tonight.

GOAL: Bakayoko gets his first Chelsea goal through a cruel deflection.

CHANCE: Willian cuts in on the left side of the box and fires a powerful shot at goal from around 15 yards out. It ricochets off the bar into the stands.

Alvaro Morata is warming up.

CHANCE: A loose ball deflects off a Qarabag defender and finds its way to the feet of Zappacosta on the edge of the area. He balloons it high over the bar.

SUB: Kante is off, Bakayoko is on.

Dave stat...

Chelsea enjoying 54% of possession. They've had 11 shots to Qarabag's 5.

Fabregas gives it away in a dangerous area but Ndlovu is unable to get a shot away on the edge of the area.

SUB: Pedro makes way for Hazard.

That was Azpilicueta's first-ever Champions League goal, by the way. It came as the result of a quick free kick from the Blues, taken short by Fabregas.

Eden Hazard is getting ready to come on...

GOAL: Azpilacueta makes it three. Fabregas puts a cross in from the right and the Spanish defender heads it into the net with little pressure from the Qarabag defence.

Willian is bundled to the ground by Guerrier on the right flank.

Conte guided Italy to two wins over Azerbaijan in Euro 2016 qualifying, so he is almost certainly familiar with several of Qarabag's domestic stars.

CHANCE: Qarabag string together some neat passes in the Chelsea half. (Pass and move, that's the Qarabag groove.) Ndlovu has a long-range shot that lands straight in Courtois' gloves.

A Fabregas corner reaches Pedro on the edge of the area. Guerrier - who has been superb for the visitors - wins it back.

Pedro charges forward but can;t force his way past Rzezniczak. It goes out for a corner.

The crowd appalud as Eden Hazard and Tiemoue Bakayoko warm up on the sidelines. It's raining now.

The referee starts the second half. No changes to either side during the break.

The referee blows for half time. It's a baptism of fire for Qarabag in their first-ever Champions League game, going down after just five minutes. This game might be remembered for Zappacosta's wonderful goal. Chelsea are totally in control thus far. Go get yourself an orange slice.

Zappacosta finds space in the box again. He fumbles the ball to Alonso, who's shot is blocked.

Batshuayi finds Alonso alone on the left flank. Pedro awaits a cross in the middle but Alonso hits it high into the crowd.

For all their comfort, Chelsea have given the ball away a few times carelessly tonight. Yet aside from a pair of free kicks, Qarabag have failed to make an impact in the final third.

The (Not Roman) Centurion.

There's a Father Ted joke in here somewhere...

Zappacosta gets the ball near the touchline in the final third. He is not in a position to shoot but the crowd shouts "Shoot!" regardless. We're going to hear that every time he touches the ball now.

Gurban Gurbanov looks pensive on the sidelines during the opening movements of Qarabag's Champions League debut.

CHANCE: Henrique dances in from the right flank and shoots low from outside the box. The shot goes straight into Courtois' hands.

CHANCE: Kante looks dangerous on the edge of the area and feeds Zappacosta to his right. The Italian shoots low but puts it wide. He wants two!

Fabregas puts Pedro through but the linesman raises the flag.

He does indeed, Garry.

That's definitely going on Zappacosta's highlight reel. Unlike Harry Kane's "shot" from a similar position at the weekend, the Chelsea new boy definitely meant that one.

GOAL! A ZAPPACOSTA GOLAZO! The Italian charges down the right flank and shoots from near the edge of the box. It sails over Sehic and into the net. A good night just got better for the former Torino man.

Kante fouls Ndlovu around 40 yards out and a free kick is given. Four Qarabagians (?) surround the ball. Guerrier blasts it low and straight into the wall.

While Conte's side comfortably knock it around the back, a stat from UEFA: Chelsea have now scored during the first half in 22 of their last 23 home Champions League matches.

I agree, Lewis.

Dangerous free kick to Chelsea on the right flank. Fabregas puts it in the mixer but Alonso doesn't quite get there. The 'keeper claims it.

WIllian wins a free kick near the half-way line when Medvedev gets a little rough.

CHANCE: Christensen puts a wonderful ball over the top to Zappacosta, who forces a save from the 'keeper. It's correctly ruled offside.

Pedro stat attack!

CHANCE: Batshuayi finds the side netting after a one-two with Willian.

Qarabag show impressive resolve shutting down Chelsea's movements in the final third. Batshuayi well contained so far.

Pedro Henrique hobbles off and requires treatment. He'll need to run that one off.

BOOKING: Gary Cahill sees yellow for a cynical challenge from behind on Brazilian forward Pedro Henrique. Well deserved.

CHANCE: Qarabag win a free kick on the edge of the area. Guerrier blasts it over the bar.

Just seen a replay of a challenge on Christensen in the opening minutes. Two Qarabag players appear to bring him down in the box in full view of the referee.

Fabregas finds Batshuayi on the edge of the box but Sadıqov intercepts in the air.

Within the first 10 minutes, Alonso has looked very dangerous out wide, winning the ball several times and breaking up play.

Chelsea have come out swinging.

Pedro was completely unmarked for his 25-yard effort. There wasn't a Qarabag player within five yards of the Spaniard.

GOAL: Pedro opens the scoring! Fabregas plays a corner back to Pedro on the box of the box, who slots it into the top corner with his first touch.

CHANCE: Christensen floats a lovely ball to Batshuayi in the box, who lays it down to Alonso. Alonso shoots and it's knocked away for another corner.

Zappacosta gets his first touch of the ball, hooning it across field to Alonso. Corner to CHelsea.

Henrique gets in behind Marcos Alonso but the ball runs loose for a free kick.

Chelsea give the ball away in midfield and it's collected by Spanish midfielder Michel. Pedro wins it back.

And we're off! For those watching in black and white, Chelsea are in blue kicking from right to left.

The teams are out, the anthem has played and Conte's hair looks magnificent.

The last time The last time Chelsea failed to score in a group stage game was December 2007: a 0-0 draw against Valencia.

A handy guide to the guests from tonight's hosts.

Antonio Conte channels his inner Rihanna while insisting his players will not been given an easy ride against the Champions League debutants at the Bridge tonight: "There’s a word that I repeat in every interview: work, work, work. If there’s a word that sums up my approach, it’s work. Even as a player, working hard always led me to achieve great success. I really believe in making my players work hard."

Prior to this evening, many suspected Chelsea's 20-year-old attacking midfielder Charly Musonda would be handed a place in the team. Many are disappointed that the precocious Belgian didn't even make the bench.

In case you were curious, here's Qarabag's subs: Kanibolotski, Amirquliev, Madatov, Ismayilov, Yunuszade, Diniyev.

Chelsea have made five changes to the team that beat Leicester at the weekend. Davide Zappacosta gets his full debut, while Andreas Christensen starts in the back three. Willian replaces Tiemoue Bakayoko, so Qarabag 'keeper Ibrahim Sehic ought to be mentally prepared for some lovely set pieces.

This might be viewed as Chelsea's easiest fixture of the group stage, but Qarabag are in superb form: the 2-1 loss to Copenhagen in the second leg of their Champions League play-off is their only defeat in their last 20 games in all competitions.

As expected, Chelsea start with Eden Hazard on the bench. Marcos Alonso and N'Golo Kante both earn their Champions League debuts.

Qarabag - making their Champions League debut tonight - aren't exactly bursting with household names. The biggest threat to the Blues' back line is striker Dino Ndlovu, who bagged six goals during the qualifying process.

CHELSEA: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill, Zappacosta, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso; Willian, Batshuayi, Pedro... Subs: Caballero, Rudiger, David Luiz, Moses, Bakayoko, Hazard, Morata. /// QARABAG: Sehic, Garayev, Medvedev, Míchel, Ndlovu, Henrique, Sadygov, Almeida, Rzeźniczak, Hüseynov, Guerrier... Subs: TBC
