After taunting Juventus fans with his now infamous ear-cupping gesture, Jose Mourinho decided to troll the Football Association in a post-match interview, a video has revealed.

Mourinho took great enjoyment in raising his hand to his ear after silencing the jibes of Juventus fans when United scored twice in the final four minutes to come from behind and win 2-1 in Italy.

And in a post-match interview with Swedish broadcaster Viasat, the United boss also settled another score.

It emerged on Wednesday that the Football Association has appealed against an independent commission’s decision to find their misconduct charge against Mourinho not proven, following comments he made after the 3-2 win over Newcastle at the start of October.

The case hinges on the proper translation of the Portuguese phrase Mourinho was seen to be mouthing on camera after another amazing United comeback – the full details of the case can be found here.

The Swedish journalist brought up the moment, "when you went out and celebrated, Juventus players were obviously very upset".

“Do you understand Italian?” said Mourinho.

“No,” replied the journalist.

“So ask the FA, they will translate for you,” beamed Mourinho.
