Liverpool knew they were facing one of the most potent attacks in football on Wednesday night in their Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain - and so it proved.

With PSG already leading 1-0 at home thanks to a goal from Juan Bernat, the hosts doubled their lead on 37 minutes through a quite magnificent team effort.

Well, when we say team, we really mean: Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani.

The three forwards combined to tear Liverpool apart on the break - with Neymar slotting the ball home after Cavani saw his shot saved by Alisson.
