The Champions League drama continues...

Liverpool's incredible comeback against Barcelona on Tuesday night was very, very special.

But just when you thought Wednesday night's Champions League semi-final in Amsterdam was going to be a quieter affair, Tottenham's Lucas Moura pulled you back to the edge of your seats.

Ajax took a two-goal lead into the second half against Spurs, thanks to first-half goals from 19-year-old captain Matthijs de Ligt and attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech.

The Dutch side held a 3-0 aggregate advantage which seemed to write off the tie and book their place in the Madrid final... but Lucas Moura had other plans.

The Brazilian forward scored twice for Spurs in quick succession to give the home side a very nervy half hour to end the semi-final.

The definition of 'squeaky-bum time'.

Fans on social media couldn't help but profess their love for this year's unpredictable edition of Europe's elite competition.

Tottenham went on to win 3-2 thanks to Moura wrapping up his hat-trick in the 95th minute to send Spurs to the Champions League final on away goals.

An incredible two nights of football!
