JUVENTUS CHANGE: Khedira on for Bernarderschi.
Three minutes added.
Juventus will be delighted with a 1-1 draw after being under the cosh for much of the match.
If it remains 1-1, Juventus will obviously be favourites. However, you can't rule out this Ajax side after what they did to Real Madrid in the last round.
OFF THE POST! Douglas Costa embarks upon a stunning, super-charged solo run on the left before unleashing a low drive that cannons back off the far post.
- Yellow cardMiralem PjanicJuventus
Almost a dream CL debut for Ekkelenkamp as he spins on to a delicious flick, but sees his low effort beaten away by Szczesny.
Ajax continuing to probe. They will feel they deserve a winner but must beware Ronaldo and Co on the break.

- Yellow cardLasse SchöneAjax
All hands to the pump for Juventus as Ziyech sees his latest blockbuster from the edge of the box brilliantly blocked.
It's been all Ajax in this second half.
Ajax cut Juve open down the right, but Ziyech gets his sliced shot all wrong and sees it fly well, well wide of goal.
- OffMario MandzukicJuventus
- OnDouglas CostaJuventus
JUVENTUS CHANGE: Mandzukic off, Douglas Costa on.
But seconds after the restart, Neres replied.
It's been a cracker of a contest so far - will we have a winner?
Within seconds of the end of the first half, CR7 did this...
- Yellow cardFrenkie de JongAjax
De Jong booked.
VIDEO: Neres fires the equaliser.
Neres has the ball in the back of the net once more - but he's miles offside.
VIDEO: Ronaldo's opener.
Tagliafico takes aim from 25 yards out but rifles his shot just wide of the near post.
And how apt it was!
What a response from the hosts!
- GoalDavid NeresAjax
GOAL! Ajax level right from the off. David Neres seizes upon an error by Cancelo, races towards the left of the area and curves a wonderful shot into the far corner.

KICK OFF! Ajax restart the contest.

HT: Ajax 0-1 Juventus.
- GoalCristiano RonaldoJuventus
GOAL! Ronaldo returns with a bang. That's his 125th CL goal and it's a bullet header from João Cancelo's cross.
Schone takes aim from the 30-yard free kick but fires well wide of target.
- Yellow cardNicolás TagliaficoAjax
Tagliafico is booked for a late challenge after the referee had tried to play advantage for Ajax. He will now miss the second leg. That was rather unfortunate as Ajax still get the free kick for the earlier foul... Hmm...
Bernarderschi swivels on to Ronaldo's knockdown from a left-wing cross, but can't quite wrap his foot around it enough to guide it on target.
CLOSE! Tagliafico is a yard away from converting Ziyech's peach of a ball to the far post on the slide.
Ziyech is unhappy with himself as his latest effort from distance drags well wide of goal.
Rodrigo Bentancur drills a 20-yard shot well wide after slick build up play by Juve down the left.
Ronaldo meets one of a succession of corners from the right, but sees his volley hook just wide of the near post.
Frenkie De Jong makes what looks like a goal-saving challenge after Bernarderschi had raced into the right side of the area and set himself to let fly.
Rugani just about averts the danger on the right byline after more bewitching play from the hosts.
The resulting corner comes to nothing.
Donny van de Beek turns on to Tadic's cut back from the right and flashes a shot agonisingly wide of the far post on the stretch.
Ajax will feel they have just about shaded this first half so far. Ziyech's shoot on sight policy has had Juve worried on no fewer than three occasions.
Ziyech takes aim with a curling effort from the edge of the area but Szczesny manages to get across to tip it over the bar.
Bernarderschi whips a devilish ball into the area, but it's just got too much length on it and Ajax are able to move it clear.
Free kick to Juventus on the far left. A good chance for the Bianconeri to load the Ajax penalty area.
Elsewhere in the CL tonight...
Bernarderschi races towards the left side of the area as Juve pour forward on the break. Matthijs de Ligt manages to stay with him and slides in to make a perfect challenge.
A little cameo there of why the young defender is so highly rated.
Ajax win the ball in Juve territory again. Ziyech plays a one-two with Tadic and fires in another long range drive that Szczesny gets down well to smother.
STAT: Only Bayern Munich (nine) and his current employers Juventus (10) have suffered at the hands of Ronaldo more than Ajax (seven) in the CL.
CR7 hasn't had much of the ball so far tonight though...
Ajax suddenly have their tails up. The visitors are looking a little rattled right now.
Hakim Ziyech exchanges a one-two on the right, cuts inside and rifles a thumping, low drive into the near side netting. That was better from the home side and had Wojciech Szczesny a little worried.
Juve have had all of the ball so far, but Ajax aren't making it easy as the hosts look to press high up the pitch at every opportunity.
DID YOU KNOW? On average, Ajax have had a younger starting XI (24 years 202 days) in the Champions League this term than any other team left in the competition.
Bernarderschi is given the freedom to surge towards the Ajax penalty area and wastes little time in unleashing a fizzing drive just wide of André Onana's right-hand upright.
HEAD-TO-HEAD: Juventus are unbeaten in their last nine European games versus Ajax, winning on five occasions. You have to go back to the 1973 European Cup final for the last time the Dutch outfit came out on top. Juve's most famous success against Ajax came in the 1996 CL final when the Italians prevailed 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
- 1st Half
KICK OFF! Juventus get this quarter final tie up and running.
DID YOU KNOW? Only Lionel Messi (11) has been directly involved in more goals in this season's Champions League than Ajax's Dusan Tadic (9). The former Southampton star has notched six goals and three assists.
Federico Bernardeschi: “Ajax are a young team, full of talent, and they’re a team that plays football. They’re really strong, they’re great athletes, so we have to pay attention to all these qualities that they have. It’s the Champions League; no side gives you anything, so we need to put in two great performances to get the result we want.”
STAT: Ronaldo has scored seven goals in his past four Champions League matches against Ajax. That tally includes a hat-trick for Real Madrid on his last visit in October 2012.
Ajax boss, Erik ten Hag: "For a country like the Netherlands, it's really difficult to get to this stage. Financially, the circumstances have really changed in recent years."
He added: "A couple of months ago, we found our form and returned to being a strong team. It will be another big obstacle to overcome after Real, but we will play as usual and we will have to be good at reading the game."
This is the clash of the comeback Kings.
Ajax hit back from a 2-1 home reversal against reigning champions Real Madrid, to pull off a sensational 4-1 triumph in the second leg at the Bernabeu. Meanwhile, former Real star Cristiano Ronaldo - who starts tonight as expected after recovering from injury, hit a hat-trick as Juventus won 3-0 at home to Atletico Madrid to overturn a 2-0 first leg loss.
