Roma earn the win, but not the win they may have wanted. Porto's crucial away goal leaves this tie int he balance for the second leg in Portugual in three weeks!
Porto are caught out on the counter as N'Zonzi passes to Kolarov, whose powerful shot from an acute angle is pushed onto the post!
The camera cuts to a slightly deflated Francesco Totti in the stands. The away goal took the wind out of the sails at the Stadio Olimpico.

Brahaimi re-enters the field and collapses on the ground again. Roma seem unhappy and imply he is time wasting.
Cristante fires a cross from the right to the edge of the box, where Pellegrini unleashes a powerful first-time shot. Casillas does well to keep hold of it!
Brahimi has hobbled off clutching his left leg. There was no apparent contact - hopefully he will return to action shortly.
Pellergini charges doiwn the middle and has options, but goes for a powerful shot straight at Casillas from 30 yards.
Pepe puts a great overhead ball into the box for Éder Militão, who brings it down with his arm. This does not escape the referee.
Porto have had 54% possession and one shot on target to Roma's three.
Brahimi forces a corner, which Alex Telles swings towards Danilo Pereira - whose free header narrowly skims past the post!
We were very close to seeing the deadlock broken there!
Porto have only won one Champions League knockout game away from home - the semifinal against Deportivo La Coruna in their magnificent 2003-04 season.
Zaniolo plays a beautiful through-ball to Cristante on the edge of the box, He skillfully turns and fires a powerful shot straight at Casillas!
Zaniolo teases a cross into the box, which is intercepted before Dzeko can connect. There's a scramble in the box for a few moments before Pereira hoofs the ball clear!
This Porto side have lost only two competitive matches all season. The manner in which they are frustrating Roma points to their defensive fortitude.
THE SECOND HALF BEGINS
There wasn't too much to write home about in the opening 45 - here's to hoping the action picks up from now on!

Edin Dzeko was denied the only really significant chance of the half. Both sides are happy to sit back and counter attack one another - perhaps they will come out of their shells a little more in the second 45.
Dzeko bursts into the box and shows strength to beat his man, but it penalised for a foul on Alex Telles.
Dzeko's chance actually appeared to be parried onto the post by Casillas. A slight touch - but an important one.
Dzeko really should have converted from that position, though.
Roma have ventured further into the final third, but Porto have had 53% of possession this far.
Fazio plays an excellent long ball to Dzeko in space in the box! The Bosnian cuts inside, beats his man and sees his close-range shot saved by Casillas!
That's the best chance of the game so far.
Roma win a corner. Pellegrini's outswinger is headed over the bar by Dzeko. Another mistimed jump!
Roma win a free kick on the right, around 35 yards from goal. Pellegrini swings it in and Manolas is inches away from connecting for a header! The Greek defender slightly mistimed his jump.
Roma have threatened a few times but there's not been a lot of goalmouth action thus far. Porto will be pleaed by the way they've kept the hosts at bay thus far.
El Sharaawy gives Perieria a shove from behind and the defemder takes exception. The referee steps in to calm things down.
Kolarov crosses fromt he left and Casillas palms it to Pellegrini on the edge of the box, but his shot is weak and easily saved.
The Serbian is proving to be Roma's biggest attacking threat thus far.
Porto earn a free kick around 40 yards from goal. Alex Telles launches it 20 yards over the bar - you won't see a worse free kick than that tonight.
The ball goes out of play. Replays suggest the ball hits Pepe's arm, but it may be outside the box. VAR appears to have decided it is not a penalty and play continues.
Zaniolo appeals for a handball in the box, which isn't given! When the ball goes out of play VAR can take a look...
De Rossi slices an attempted clearance in the box and the ball falls perfectly for Otavio, but his shot is weak. A lucky escape for the captain.
Danilo Pereira breaks and charges through the middle oif the field, Yaya Toure-style, and picks out Alex Telles on the right. He breaks into the box, but is stopped by Manolas.
Pellegrini tries to pick out an El Shaarawy run on the left, but he puts too much heat on the ball.
Roma are dominating play at the moment.
Porto win a free kick around 30 yards form goal on the left channel. It's floated to Herrera on the edge of the box, but he doesn't take his chance and Roma break with Dzeko! Brahimi frantically clears Dzeko's ball into the box for a corner... narrowly acoiding the goal with his clearance!
Dzeko and Kolarov combine on the left to pump another ball into the box, which Pepe clears.
Roma started slowly but are getting into gear now.
El Shaarway picks up Kolarov on the overlap, and the fullback blasts a low ball into the box. Casillas claims it but Dzeko wasn't far away!
Fernando puts the ball low across the Roma box from the right, but Brahimi is unable to connect. A great ball into the box!
Felipe gives up possession around 30 yards from goal and El Shaarawy threatens on the left side of the box. He is dispossessed - a let-off for the Brazilian defender.
Roma have enjoyed the lion's share of possession so far, but have yet to break into the final third. A slioghtly scrsappy start.
AND WE'RE OFF!
After a moment of applause for Emiliano Sala, Dutch referee Danny Makkelie pips his whistle and Dzeko gets the ball rolling!
The teams are megering from the tunnel and kick-off is minutes away!
Roma have not been beaten at home since October, which was also the last time Porto lost an away trip. We may see a fairly even affair between two sides who will have been happy to draw one another at this stage of the competition.
There are 4,300 travelling fans at the Stadio Olimpico tonight, who will have to work hard to compete with the noise on the Curva Sud.
Porto manager Sergio Conceicao is familiar with tonight's venue, having been a part of Lazio's Serie A-winning side of 2000.
"Obviously entering this stadium brings back memories of happy years and the many titles I won at Lazio. It's always emotional coming to Rome, but my focus is this game."
Roma manager Eusebio di Francesco: "There are only two Italian sides left. We are proud to be one of them. We have to aim high. This game is a great chance to produce a big performance and bring back some enthusiasm."
Roma reached the semifinals last season, where Liverpool ended their journey. Their only appearance in the final came in 1984, when it was also Liverpool who denied them.
Roma's goalkeeper Antonio Mirante has only played two games this season. The 35-year-old nearly retired in August 2016 when pre-season tests showed heart irregularities. He was signed from Bologna for €4m at the start of this campaign.
These two sides last met in the qualification round of 2016-17. The first leg was a 1-1 draw in Portugal before Porto emerged 3-0 winners at the Stadio Olimpico.
Can Porto pull off a similar away victory tonight?
Around 50,000 fans are expected at the Stadio Olimpico and the Portuguese have turned up in full voice...
Porto currently sit at the summit of the Portuguese Primeira and are undefeated in the league since an early October clash with Benfica. Roma are undefeated in six league outings, but currently sit sixth in Serie A.
