Sanches has a pop from 25 yards but Alisson makes an easy save.
That clock is ticking awfully quickly from Bayern's perspective. They need two goals to avoid the exit. A draw wouldn't be enough.
Liverpool break at pace once more. Firmino is given time to size up a shot from 25 yards, but the Brazilian drills it straight into the midriff of Neuer.
- OffJames RodríguezFC Bayern Munich
- OnRenato SanchesFC Bayern Munich
BAYERN CHANGE: James off, Sanches on.
Bayern are having to gamble and push men forward which is leaving gaps for the visitors to counter into. There could yet be another goal in this for Liverpool if they work it right.
TAA fires it into the mix, but this time Bayern deal with it effectively.
Free kick to Liverpool 35 yards out. TAA and Milner over it.
Greedy from Salah. Liverpool break at speed and have men over. The Egyptian races on to Firmino's pass and tries to weave beyond two defenders. Mane is completely free, but he ignores him and Neuer is able to scramble it to safety.

BAYERN CHANGE: Goretzka on for Martinez.
Bayern creak at another Liverpool corner, but Mane's header back across goal is desperately hacked to safety from inside the six-yard box.

Liverpool are heavy favourites to make the last eight from here.

A man(e) in form...
STAT: Bayern are aiming to make the last eight of the CL for the eight time on the spin. The German giants have only failed to find the back of the net once in their last 27 CL home games.
Liverpool defend a Bayern corner well and then break at pace. Mane feeds Salah who races towards the home side's area before drilling in a stinging shot that is far too close to Neuer.
HISTORY REPEATING? This is the ninth European meeting between the sides. Liverpool have won twice, with five being drawn. Perhaps the most famous clash between the sides came in the 1981 European Cup semi finals. The sides drew 0-0 at Anfield, with Liverpool reaching the final on away goals after clinching a 1-1 draw in the second leg.
- 2nd Half
KICK OFF! Bayern restart the contest knowing they must come out on top in this half or face elimination.
- End of 1st Half
HT: Bayern 1-1 Liverpool. Mane's sublime opener is cancelled out by Matip's own goal. As it stands, Liverpool will go through on the away goals rule, but there's a big 45 minutes still ahead for Klopp and Co.
Two minutes added. Liverpool keen to get to the break at 1-1 as Bayern finish the half strongly.
Alaba hammers the free kick over the wall towards Alisson's left-hand corner, but the Reds keeper is across to coolly pat it down and avert the danger.
- Yellow cardFabinhoLiverpool
Fabinho booked. Free kick to Bayern 30-35 yards out.
Klopp was furious with the way his side fell asleep for that equaliser. It was far too easy for Bayern to get in-behind.
That goal came out of nothing but comes at a great time for Bayern. It's 1-1 and as it stands Liverpool would go through on the away goals rule. However, Bayern's belief and hope could well be reignited now after offering little up to that point.
- Own-goalJoel MatipLiverpool
GOAL! Bayern are level and back in business! Gnabry outfoxes Robertson with a smart run in-behind down the right. He bursts into the box and fires in a devilish ball that Matip can only stab into his own net.
Plenty of replays showing of that Mane goal - and it just gets better with each viewing. He produces three sublime touches to make and score that.
Liverpool rip Bayern open down the left once again, but this time Neuer is alert to beat away Robertson's drive from a narrow angle.
LATEST: Ex-Liverpool star, Philippe Coutinho has put Barca 2-0 up at home to Lyon.

Bayern look to respond, but Lewandowski sees his shot from distance take a deflection and fall kindly for Alisson.
That was some first touch by Mane. Sheer class.
- GoalSadio ManéLiverpool
GOAL! Mane takes down van Dijk's ball over the top, spins beyond the advancing Neuer before lifting a delightful finish over the covering defender and into the far corner.
Firmino takes a ball forward in his stride and wastes little time unleashing a fizzing 25-yard drive that flashes just wide of Neuer's left-hand post.
The sides have been evenly matched so far. Plenty of respect on show but little to get excited about at the moment.
PHOTO: A dejected Henderson leaves the action early through injury.
Klopp's record managing sides at Bayern: W4 D1 L9.
LATEST: Barcelona 1-0 Lyon.
We've seen very little of Liverpool in attack, but Mane and Salah have now reverted to their usual roles.
BEWARE THE PROLIFIC POLE: Robert Lewandowski has netted 23 goals in his last 22 Champions League outings at the Allianz Arena. That includes nine in 10 knockout games.
He was almost in again moments ago, but van Dijk did just enough to stop him.
- OffJordan HendersonLiverpool
LIVERPOOL CHANGE: Fabinho on for the injured Henderson.
Henderson drops to the floor once more. It appears to be a problem with his ankle.
Klopp has called for Fabinho to get ready.
Lewandowski looks to wriggle free in the box. He appears to get goal side of Van Dijk after latching on to a dink in the box, but the Dutchman recovers and manages to out-muscle the Pole and deny him a shot at goal.
DID YOU KNOW? On the last three occasions Liverpool have met German sides in Europe they have won the tie and gone on to reach the final. That was in the 2005 and 2018 Champions League campaigns as well as in the 2016 Europa League.
Henderson is patched up and back in the action.
Thiago lashes a first-time effort over the bar from 25 yards after a loose pass from Firmino fell kindly for him.
The game continues with Henderson off the pitch. Bayern probing 10-man Liverpool.
LIVERPOOL V GERMANY: The Merseysiders have faced German opposition 43 times, winning on 21 occasions. On German soil they have picked up just three victories and lost six of 19 encounters.
Henderson drops to the floor and gestures for the physio. Play has been stopped for the Liverpool skipper to receive treatment.
Both sides feeling each other out early doors. Very little action of note in the attacking thirds.
DID YOU KNOW? The first-leg stalemate was only the second time that Liverpool have featured in a goalless draw in the Champions League proper. The first was in the semi final at Chelsea in 2005.
Liverpool's front three has been tweaked. Salah is starting on the left with Mane on the right. Roberto Firmino remains in his usual spot in the middle.
THE ODDS FAVOUR BAYERN: The German champions will feel they have the edge after securing a 0-0 draw at Anfield. The data backs that up too as 68 per cent of sides to have clinched that scoreline in a first leg have gone on to progress in a Champions League knockout tie - that's 21 out of 31 occasions.
- 1st Half
KICK OFF! Liverpool get this blockbuster of a second leg up and running.
Bayern coach, Niko Kovac: "We know they are strong in defence. With Virgil van Dijk coming back Liverpool will be even stronger in defence but we can score goals. We have shown that in the Bundesliga."
He added: "What we need to improve is our efficiency up front. I am confident that at home with the support of our fans, we will be even more efficient in attack and create more opportunities."
Virgil van Dijk on Robert Lewandowski: "You need to be smart and more than 100 per cent ready for anything. If he's trying to run at you, trying to get past you, you need to be ready for that as well. You don't need to give any opportunities to those strikers because they will punish you and they will score."
Bayern legend, Lothar Matthaus: “0-0 is a good, but dangerous, result. When you need to score it gives Liverpool more space. But Bayern are at home - they’ve beaten their fair share of greats there.”
FRONT THREE FRUSTRATION: Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane have yet to hit top form in this competition this season. The Reds have struggled to find the back of the net on their CL travels, with James Milner's penalty at PSG their only goal away from home in the Group Stage. Jurgen Klopp's men have lost their last four CL away matches - but have never lost five in a row in European competition.
Jurgen Klopp: "It's a much more positive moment for Bayern. They are top of the table and winning games comfortably again. But if we are at our best, we can be exceptional."
Mo Salah: "I'll be honest with you, the most prestigious competition for me is the Champions League. But the dream for the city and the club is the league. So, I'm happy to sacrifice my dream for their dream. If we win both that would be great, and this is what we are trying to do."
Bayern must do without Joshua Kimmich and Thomas Muller, who are both suspended. The Bavarians make two changes to the side that thumped Wolfsburg 6-0 at the weekend with the fit-again David Alaba coming in at left back and Franck Ribery joining the attack.
Liverpool makes two changes to the side that beat Burnley at the weekend. That means Virgil van Dijk returns from suspension after missing the first leg at Anfield. James Milner and Jordan Henderson come into the starting XI with Adam Lallana and Fabinho dropping to the bench after featuring versus the Clarets. Trent Alexander-Arnold is fit to start.
CONFIRMED TEAMS - BAYERN: Neuer, Rafinha, Sule, Hummels, Alaba, Thiago, Martinez, Ribery, Rodriguez, Gnabry, Lewandowski...
