The referee indicates four minutes of injury time.
GOAL! As promised, it was Spurs who looked more likely and Eriksen managed to squeeze the ball inside the near post after good work from Rose and Sessegnon down the left flank.
It is Spurs who look more likely to add to the scoreline. Eriksen shoots from the edge of the box but the home keeper saves comfortably.
Even now Red Star are showing little threat. The '92 winning side would be spinning in their graves if they were no longer with us.
Lo Celso volleys wide Sessegnon's cross from 20 yards out.
With another love sign to the crowd, Son is replaced by Ryan Sessegnon, fair to say he's done his job tonight.
Ndombele finds Eriksen on the right flank who squares for Kane but he drags his effort wide.
Zvevda force a free kick just outside the spurs area on the right flank but the low attempted cross from marin is early cleared away. The ensuing corner curls around for a goal kick.
An elongated check to see if the goal was offside for some reason. Even weirder, the ref looks uncannily like Erik Lamela - that can't be allowed.
GOAL! Kane played in Rose in the left hand side of the penalty area and he squared across the six-yard box for Son who smashed home - with no apology. Seems to have forgiven himself, at last.
GOAL! Son blasts home after Alli rolled it square to him on the left hand side of the penalty area after Ndombele charged into the last third and fed it inside to the England forward. Afterwards Son gestures 'Sorry' to the camera at Andre Gomes.
Some neat interplay from Zvevda but it breaks down as they get close to the penalty area.
The ball almost breaks for Alli in the box but Degenek just manages to clear the danger.
Such a great chance for Red Star who had a three-on-two in the Spurs area but Pavkov tried to play a through ball to Marin that went out for a goal kick.
Kane drives into the box and falls over theatrically but the referee rightly just signals for a goal kick.
The second half is underway.
Are we seeing the arrival of a new Spurs hero.
And here is that crazy goal...
Half time! Some nervy moments but overall a good half for Tottenham at the Stadion Rajko Mitic.
Foyth plays a lovely ball through to Kane but is outstretched leg pushes the ball wide of the post.
So close for Zvevda! Van le Parra hits the ball against the post and then the ball ricochets back off Sanchez's boot and off the crossbar before it is cleared.
Alli has a chance to turn a defender but is dispossessed and the ball then falls for Son who does turn his man but his effort is deflected wide.
Kane tries a little impudent chip from the right hand side of the area but it drifts harmlessly wide.
Just to reiterate, a win for Spurs here will put them four points clear of Zvevda who surely would not be able to rein that back in over the last two games.
GOAL! Incredible. It took three goes but eventually Lo Celso hits the net. He first slipped Kane through who hit the post, then after a scrambled Son hit the bar and then the Argentinian lashed home his first for the club.
It's easy to see how Lo Celso will help Spurs. He plays clever balls into dangerous areas but is smart enough to keep the ball too when needed. A typical Poch player you may say.
Ndombele almost squeezes a pass through to Son down the inside-left channel but an outstretched leg denies the Korean striker the ball.
Ndombele crosses a free kick in from the left flank that Pavkov heads behind for a corner. Borjan punches Lo Celso's corner away.
Gazzaniga to the rescue. Red Star's first attack for 20 minutes and some awful defending put Pavkov through on goal but the Spurs stopper saved with his legs.
Son in trademark fashion turns outside a shot with his left that just misses the far post.
In lieu of much else to speak about it worth looking at Spurs' route out to the pitch tonight. Pretty intimidating I have to say. Reminds me of an underpass in Erith.
They're here for the taking Zvevda. Foyth just allowed freedom to get to the byline and he forced a corner which Borjan punched clear.
Just a reminder, Bayern won their fourth straight game in the group earlier, 2-0 over Olympiacos, Spurs and Crzena Zvezda were next with four and three points at the start of this game.
Rose plays in Son who lifted the ball high into the six-yard box but he was a long way offside.
First effort on goal. Ndombele plays in Kane who flicks the ball outside of the defender in the inside right channel and fires into the side-netting.
Spurs dominating possession now but no sign of end product.
Nice interplay from Kane and Lo Celso, a backheel from the Argentinian putting the England striker down the right flank and the ball was eventually moved inside to Son who lost possession.
Good noise from the home fans. Little threat at either end at the moment.
At the moment Alli is behind Kane with Son playing alongside him more to the left hand side and Ndombele supporting a little deeper on the right.
Spurs immediately under the cosh. A lot of possession in their third of the field but no shot on target.
It's thought Dele Alli will be on the right and Sissoko on the left. Not sure about that. We'll soon see.
No away win for Spurs since that never-to-be-forgotten night in Amsterdam in May. This would obviously be a great time to break that drought and all-but put them in the last 16.
Most exciting for Spurs fans is the appearance of Giovani Lo Celso making his first start for the Lilywhites.
