KICK OFF! City get this CL quarter final underway.
STAT: Lyon's Memphis Depay has netted in six successive Champions League matches. Ruud van Nistelrooy is the only Dutch player to go on a longer scoring streak in the competition's history (a run of nine in the 2002-03 campaign).
Aymeric Laporte: We know Lyon are a tough team with a lot of good players and we have to be focused and ready. If we are able to win the Champions League it would be massive for the club, it would make us much stronger for the future, but first we have to win this match.”
Guardiola: "Every game is a final from now on, but we are ready. Playing just a single game makes it quite different, when you play in a first leg you always have one eye on the second, but in this situation there is no second chance. You either go through or go home, and that is possibly why there have been some unexpected results. The elite clubs will be there always, they are not going to go away, but perhaps you need this kind of competition sometimes because in one game anything can happen. It’s exciting.”
Not long now!
Lyon coach, Rudi Garcia: "City are the big favourites in this match. I hope we are as good as these last two games. We will have to exist with the ball and score. We are capable of doing it."
