This was a real show of strength from PSG with five different players finding the back of the net for the French champions. Keep in mind that Tuchel rested a number of players for this game! Galatasaray were poor and will reflect on what was a dismal Champions League campaign on the whole.

- End of 2nd Half
FULL TIME: Paris Saint-Germain 5-0 Galatasaray
Neymar has been brilliant this evening. He has been the best player on the pitch which is saying something because PSG have been exceptional almost all the way through tonight.
There will be three minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the match.
On the other hand, this has been a disastrous Champions League campaign for Galatasaray. There will surely be an inquest after this. They have been so far out of their depth.
PSG have been exceptional tonight. On this showing they will be among the frontrunners to win the Champions League this season. There's been no stopping Mbappe and Neymar.
- Yellow cardSelçuk InanGalatasaray
Inan has also entered the referee's book. The Turkish visitors have lost their discipline. They're angry over the award of the penalty kick.
- Yellow cardMario LeminaGalatasaray
Galatasaray have lost their cool here. Lemina has been shown a yellow card for arguing.
- Goal by penaltyEdinson CavaniParis Saint-Germain
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Paris Saint-Germain 5 (84 mins - Edinson Cavani) Galatasaray 0. Mbappe hands the ball to Cavani at the demand of the crowd inside the Parc des Princes and the striker rolls the shot into the back of the net, with Muslera diving the wrong way. That's a very popular goal with the PSG fans!
- Yellow cardRadamel FalcaoGalatasaray
Falcao has also been shown a yellow card for the reaction to the penalty kick.
- Yellow cardFernando MusleraGalatasaray
Muslera has been booked for his protests over the award of the penalty kick...
PENALTY KICK TO PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN! Mbappe is shoved over as he tries to round Muslera and the hosts will have a chance to add a fifth from the spot.
NEYMAR... denied! The Brazilian forward controlled a pass over the top on his chest and then got a volley away on goal, with Muslera making the save, but the flag was up for a handball!
- OffTanguy KouassiParis Saint-Germain
- OnMarco VerrattiParis Saint-Germain
There's going to be a third and final PSG change as well and Verratti is on for the final 10 minutes or so.
- OffJuan BernatParis Saint-Germain
- OnThilo KehrerParis Saint-Germain
Tuchel makes a second change and it's Bernat who comes off for Kehrer.
They suffered a heavy defeat to Real Madrid not so long ago and this has been another chastening experience for Galatasaray. The Champions League has been a step too far for them.
Mbappe at the front post! The PSG youngster got on the end of a cross from the right wing, but it was an awkward way for him to take the shot at the near post and it bounces off him.
- OffSteven N'ZonziGalatasaray
- OnSener ÖzbayrakliGalatasaray
N'Zonzi is taken off by Terim. He struggled to get a grip of his PSG counterparts in the centre of the pitch.
Falcao is doing a lot of running in attack for Galatasaray - of course, he has fresh legs since coming off the bench - but the Colombian is having to do it all on his won. No service at all.
News from the other game... Real Madrid have once again taken the lead in Belgium, with Vinicius finding the net against Club Bruges. Of course, that result now matters little to either of these two teams.
Cavani will be looking to make an impression here. He has fallen out of the PSG starting lineup this season and tonight has illustrated why - Icardi has forged a real relationship with Mbappe and Neymar.
- OffMauro IcardiParis Saint-Germain
- OnEdinson CavaniParis Saint-Germain
As predicted, Cavani comes on for PSG and it's Icardi who is taken off by Tuchel.
- GoalKylian MbappéParis Saint-Germain
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Paris Saint-Germain 4 (67 mins - Kylian Mbappe) Galatasaray 0. It's four for PSG and it's a goal for Mbappe this time! The Frenchman was released clean in on goal, he had time to settle himself and sweep home the finish. It's just been too easy for PSG to get in behind Galatasaray this evening.
- OffEmre MorGalatasaray
- OnRadamel FalcaoGalatasaray
The PSG supporters recognise this guy from his time in Ligue 1. Falcao is on for Galatasaray.
Galatasaray have only scored once in the Champions League group stage this season. They only have two points to show for their efforts. It's been a really dismal campaign for them.
We will surely see Cavani at some point of this match? He might have lost his first team place at PSG this season, but the striker will surely still have a role to play for them at times.
Questions have been asked of Tuchel recently. The German has in fact been linked with the Arsenal job. But performances like this one will surely keep PSG's owners satisfied.
- Yellow cardSteven N'ZonziGalatasaray
N'Zonzi picks up a yellow card. There's a real air of resignation about Galatasaray now.
More news from the other game... Real Madrid's lead in Belgium didn't last long at all. Club Bruges have equalised against the Spanish giants. They look set to finish in third place.
Neymar really has been exceptional this evening. Galatasaray just haven't been able to deal with the Brazilian forward who has simply been afforded far too much time and space through the middle.
News from the other game... not that it really matters much given the scoreline here, but Real Madrid have taken the lead against Club Bruges through Rodrygo in the other game in this group.
Should have been four! Mbappe was clean through on goal after being played through by Neymar, but the Frenchman sends his shot inches over the bar. He was looking for the far top corner.
Some PSG supporters still believe that Neymar is less than fully committed to the club after what happened in the summer, but he is still arguably their most talented player. Showing that tonight.
The French champions had bodies surging forward on the counter, but this time the pass from Neymar is cut out before it can reach Mbappe. That is something of a rarity tonight.
PICTURE: Icardi has been in excellent goalscoring form recently.
There were some encouraging moments for Galatasaray in the opening 10 minutes of this match, but it's not an exaggeration to say that they have offered nothing since then.
- Yellow cardYounès BelhandaGalatasaray
Belhanda is booked for catching Marquinhos with a tackle. He kicked the back of the defender's legs.
The TV cameras show Cavani sat on the Parc des Princes bench. One wonders what the Uruguayan striker is thinking having to watch Icardi play so well alongside Mbappe an Neymar.
Well, if Terim had come up with a new game plan for the second half it is already in tatters. PSG have been utterly rampant this evening and this could now get rather ugly for Galatasaray.
- GoalNeymarParis Saint-Germain
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Paris Saint-Germain 3 (46 mins - Neymar) Galatasaray 0. An excellent third goal from PSG! Mbappe and Neymar link up inside the opposition penalty area, with the former bakcheeling an assist for the latter and the Brazilian forward finished with a low finish into the far corner of the net.
- 2nd Half
The second half is under way! Paris Saint-Germain have a 2-0 lead over Galatasaray in this Champions League fixture.
What did you make of the first half at the Parc des Princes? Is there any way back for Galatasaray? Is this a performance that underlines PSG status as Champions League contenders? Tweet me!
- End of 1st Half
HALF TIME: Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 Galatasaray. Goals from Icardi and Sarabia have given PSG a two-goal lead at the interval. It's a long way back for the Turkish visitors from this point. Game over?
There will be two minutes of stoppage time played at the end of the first half.
- Yellow cardLayvin KurzawaParis Saint-Germain
Kurwaza is shown the first yellow card of the night for a bad tackle from behind on Inan.
- OffJean Michaël SeriGalatasaray
- OnSelçuk InanGalatasaray
Galatasaray have been forced into a change with Seri having to come off injured.
Terim will need to give his Galatasaray team something different for the second half. They have created very little with the exception of a couple of shots in the opening 10 minutes.
Over the bar! Mbappe's first touch was brilliant to control a pass that came over his shoulder, but the young PSG forward sends his shot high over the crossbar. Bit of a waste.
PSG have a track record of allowing leads to slip in important Champions League games, but that surely isn't going to happen tonight. They are in complete control of this match.
Seri looks to have picked up some sort of injury and is receiving some treatment from the medical staff. The midfielder is up and on his feet again, but will the visitors have to make a change?
Icardi now has 12 goals for the season. The Argentine has really settled in well in the French capital since making the move from Inter in the summer. Has struck up an understanding with both Mbappe and Neymar.
This match now looks as good as over. PSG have a tight grip on the contest and given the away Galatasaray have played this first half it's difficult to envisage how they can mount a fightback.
- GoalPablo SarabiaParis Saint-Germain
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Paris Saint-Germain 2 (35 mins - Pablo Sarabia) Galatasaray 0. It's a quickfire second goal for PSG and it's Neymar who is the creator again! His dribble forward opened up space in the final third, he played the pass out right to Sarabia and he found the far corner of the net with a low finish.
Galatasaray need to take something from this match if they are to stand any chance of finishing third and dropping into the Europa League, but this has been poor from them so far.
That goal had been coming for the French champions. Neymar has threatened a pass like that all night and this time he got one right, with Mbappe holding his run brilliantly as well.
- GoalMauro IcardiParis Saint-Germain
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Paris Saint-Germain 1 (32 mins - Mauro Icardi) Galatasaray 0. Neymar is the architect for PSG, releasing Mbappe in behind the opposition defence. The young Frenchman then had the presence of mind to square for Icardi who had time and space to finish into the back of the net with ease.
Good cross! Sarabia gets a dangerous delivery into the Galatasaray box from the left wing, Kurzawa was the one attacking it, but his glancing header bounces just past Icardi at the back post.
Galatasaray just haven't been able to get out from their own half and test this rotated PSG defence. Rico hasn't had a save to make yet. It's been a quiet night for the former Sevilla keeper.
Neymar freekick on target! It was a long way out for the PSG forward, but he still managed to get his freekick on target. There wasn't enough power on it to bear Muslera, though.
Speaking of Neymar, the Brazilian looks to be in the mood this evening. He scored in the game against Montpellier at the weekend. Can he start a scoring run by adding another tonight?
Of course, the saga surrounding Neymar's future dominated the summer transfer market. Some PSG fans still haven't forgotten the Brazilian, but he has found form in recent weeks.
There's so surely only so long Galatasaray can hold on like this. At least they were getting out of their own half on the counter attack in the first 10 minutes. Now that's not even happening.
Muslera denies Mbappe! Some lovely skill from Neymar releases Sarabia to the byline, he cuts the ball back into the penalty box for Mbappe, but the Galatasaray goalkeeper makes the save low down.
Kouassi has settled in nicely. The teenager has become PSG's youngest ever Champions League starter this evening. A lot of top clubs are circling him, hoping to take him away from the Parc des Princes.
PICTURE: PSG have yet to find the breakthrough.
That was an opportunity for PSG to break through the Galatasaray defence after Lemina gave away the ball in the centre of the pitch, but the pass for Mbappe was a little too strong.
It's perhaps understandable that the intensity and tempo from PSG is a little lower than you would expect for a Champions League match. The French champions are already through.
There is a sense that PSG are starting to turn the screw on Galatasaray here. They are in control of the possession and are camped in the opposition half as they search for the opener.
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... NO! PSG believe that they have scored the opening goal, but it's chalked off for offside. Mbappe was played through, he squared for Icardi to finish, but the Frenchman was offside.
At this point of the match at the Santiago Bernabeu Galatasaray were already 3-0 down. It's at least an improvement on that performance for the Turkish outfit. They look a bit more solid.
Neymar believes that he should have been awarded a spot kick for being bundled over inside the penalty area, but the referee waves away the claims of PSG's Brazilian forward.
The flag was up! Just for a moment it seemed that Icardi had broken the Galatasaray offside trap, his shot was a wild one from a tight angle, but the offside flag was up to spare his bliushes.
That's a couple times that Galatasaray have been given time and space 25 yards out only for them to blast a shot over the crossbar. They should have tested Rico on two occasions.
The signing of Icardi from Inter in the summer looked to be a signing for the sake of a signing, but the Argentine has really added something different to the PSG attacking line.
PSG secured top spot in Group A by coming from 2-0 down to claim a 2-2 draw away at Real Madrid two weeks ago. No matter what happens tonight they will be going through top.
Tuchel has made a number of changes to his PSG team, but they have largely come in the defence. In terms of the attack, the French champions are still at full strength this evening.
Sign of the times...
It was from around that area that Sarabia scored against Real Madrid in the Santiago Bernabeu. The former Sevilla man does carry some goal threat from that part of the pitch.
Almost a stunning opener! Sarabia struck a first-time effort from the edge of the Galatasaray penalty box, there was power in the effort, but Muslera made the diving save to tip it over the bar.
PSG have enjoyed the better start here. They are the ones settling into their flow a lot quicker than the Turkish visitors to the Parc des Princes. That's to be expected, of course.
Galatasaray have gone 10 games in the Champions League without a win. Indeed, this has been a disappointing European campaign for the Turkish outfit. They have just two points from five matches.
- 1st Half
The match is under way! It's Paris Saint-Germain against Galatasaray in this Champions League group game.
Okay, here we go. The famous anthem is being played at the Parc des Princes. We're just moments away from kick off.
Icardi scored the winner for PSG in the first group game between these two teams earlier in the season. Will there be a repeat of that tonight?
PSG have impressed in the Champions League so far this season, but it was the same last season and then they failed to get past the last 16. Are they flattering to deceive again?
Of course, PSG are already sure of their place in the last 16 of this season's Champions League. They have also clinched top spot in Group A. Galatasaray can still qualify for the Europa League last 32, though.

Rotation! Tuchel has made a number of changes to his favoured lineup, with Rico and Kouassi in the PSG team to take on Galatasaray this evening. This is also a big chance for Paredes.
