Full Time

And thats it. Big win for Tottenham in the end. It was far less comfortable than that scoreline looks though. Have to hand it to them and their new coach. They were a different side in the second half.

88'

Finally the game has died down. Olympiacos have lost hope and Spurs know the job is done.

83'

Ndombele gets some game time on for Alli who gets a deserved standing ovation.

80'

What looked like could have been a disaster has turned into another glory glory night at the White Hart Lane.

79'

GOAL! Eriksen with a perfect free kick and Kane heads home to become the quickest player to 20 goals in the Champions League.

77'

Alli really does look a new player. Great run down the left flank then he's stood on by Podence who gets a yellow card.

75'

GOAL! And a superb one....and it's Aurier!?! Alli with beautiful feet on the left, he then puts a cros sin that Son gets a flick onto and it comes to Aurier on the half-volley and he meets the ball with the crispest of strikes.

73'

Another yellow for the visitors. This one for Tsimikas for a foul on Aurier.

73'

Eriksen takes it and puts it half a yard wide.

70'

Kane has a chance to strike at goal but Merida blocks very well.

71'

Nice run from Alli until he is brought down by Bouchalakis. It's a yellow card and a free kick on the edge of the box.

64'

The game flowing far less now and that suits Spurs.

63'

Sissoko comes on for Lucas Moura. Probably a good move to sure up the midfield defensively. Spurs only need a draw.

58'

It's all Olympiacos again now and they have a corner given away by Aurier.

57'

A nice hug for the ball boy for his swift retrieval and feed from Mourinho. May remind some of the older of you of Jimmy Hill blaming a Blackburn ball girl for an FA Cup goal in the early 1990s.

55'

Tsimikas puts in a good cross from the left wing that El Arabi and Podence just can't get on the end of.

52'

No long VAR check there. Did look like should have been a foul rather than Spurs throw in but it wasn't checked. Can it be if not in open play before the goal? Who knows really...

51'

GOAL! Spurs are level! They took a quick throw in and Moura cut back for Kane who slotted home.

49'

Eriksen whips in a cross that Davinson Sanchez misses with his head and inadvertently deflects over with his shoulder.

48'

It's night and day the effort being put in by Spurs and they have a foul on the right flank 30 yards out now.

47'

Spurs immediately look on. Alli putting himself about. The ball comes to Eriksen who puts a fine cross in that the keeper fumbles but he's let off by a free kick.

46'

We're back underway....No more changes from Mourinho.

Here is the second Olympiacos goal.

Due to Poch's divine inspiration?

A flag for former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is displayed in the crowd as Jose Mourinho, Manager of Tottenham Hotspur looks on during the UEFA Champions League group B match between Spurs and Olympiacos FC
Half Time

Wow. What a stroke of luck that is on the stroke of half time. Spurs still in the game when they really don't deserve to be.

45'

GOAL! Mourinho's ally Alli gets the goal. A gift. Awful defending from Meriah (insert joke). He swings and misses an easy low cross to clear and Dele is there to smack home from inside the six-yard box.

43'

#Mourinhoout trending. I think we can put that down to bantz.

39'

Kane takes it and curls his effort over the bar landing on top of the netting.

39'

Semedo booked for a foul on the edge of the box. The replays showed he got the ball. No VAR for that kind of thing. Eriksen's time to shine...

37'

Alli crosses from the left flank but it is comfortably gathered by the keeper.

34'

Bit of possession in the final third from Spurs but they could not forge an opportunity and El Aridi got back to dispossess Aurier and win a free kick.

30'

Tsimikas with a shot from a loooong way out that swerved wide but looked like he had Gazzaniga worried.

30'

Spurs could have to ride out a storm before half time. They look very exposed with Winks on his own dealing with two or three runners.

27'

Eric Dier is the man coming off. A strange switch. Eriksen and Winks in centre midfield?

25'

Eriksen set to come on for Tottenham. Wonder who for.

23'

Gazzaniga flapped at a free kick that Spurs just managed to clear. Semedo who had set his sights on the keeper is hurting from the collision.

21'

Spurs spurned a two-goal lead to draw in Greece so, if Olympiacos hold on to victory, then beat Red Star in the last game, Tottenham would have to get something from their away game at Bayern Munich.

21'

Kane was through on goal but rifled wide of the post. He was offside anyway but it just shows no one is on their game for Spurs.

19'

GOAL! 2-0 - That was dreadful. Corner from the left was hit badly low then nudged on at the front post and Semedo poked home from three yards out.

16'

Podense looked in on goal but Davinson Sanchez showed the pace he has to get back goal side and block his effort.

13'

Good save from Jose Sa. Son flicked a header from an inswinging corner but the Portuguese keeper tipped wide at full stretch. Kane almost got a toe to the ball en route which would have surely been a goal.

11'

Son jinked through two challenges but his touch was heavy and went through to the keeper.

10'

Spurs at last getting some possession. Alli tried to play in Lucas but his ball was a bit firm.

8'

Rose was the only change from the Spurs side that started at the weekend. In for Ben Davies. Jose won't abide defenders who can be a calamity. Rose has that tendency.

6'

GOAL! What a hit! El Arabi with a swerving low hit from the edge of the box. Awful defending from Danny Rose who gifted him the ball 25 yards out, but it was a superb strike.

5'

Just one point from the visitors so far in the competition but they've started very well. Look a different league to Red Star who allowed Spurs to do as they liked in Belgrade.

3'

Good start from the Greeks. Now Masouras turns in from the left wing on the edge of the box but shoots straight at Gazzaniga.

2'

Lovely run from the right wing from Podence to the D of the Spurs penalty area but the final ball is poor.

1'

We're underway. Will Spurs start as quickly as they did at the weekend.

19:57

Players are out. The commentators have called Jose the Special One four times already. Must mean the game is about to start.

19:51

Olympiacos come into the game off a draw with Panionos which saw chief Super League rivals PAOK draw level on points with them at the top of the domestic league.

19:43

Five goals already in Europe this season - and I'd bet on more tonight...

19:35

Tottenham: Gazzaniga; Aurier, Alderweireld, Davinson Sánchez, Rose; Dier, Winks, Lucas, Son, Alli; Kane

19:35

Olympiacos: José Sa; Elabdellaoui, Semedo, Meriah, Tsimikas; Guilherme, Mady Camara, Bouchalakis; Podence, Masouras, El Arabi

19:29

So Spurs go into the game with almost the same line-up that were superb for the first hour then just held on against West Ham. Danny Rose in for Ben Davies the sole change.
