FT: Bayern 2-3 PSG. The biggest win of Pochettino's time at PSG so far as Kylian Mbappe stars to put his side on the brink of the last four. Holders Bayern were far too brittle at the back, and are staring at a European Cup exit, baring a remarkable turnaround in Paris next week. Thanks for joining us. Goodnight.
Two minutes of added time here.
NO PENALTY! Muller's low cross is blocked by Herrera. Bayern want a penalty for handball, but nothing is given.
WIDE! What a chance for Alaba. Great play from Choupo-Moting to hold the ball up, he lays it off for Alaba, who side-foots for goal, but grazes the outside of the post.
Snow is still coming down here, and making things a little difficult for the players.
Bayern's final ball is deserting him in the latter stages here.
Will he be the matchwinner once more?
Neuer comes to claim a cross and launches a quick counter.
Bayern come again, but Choupo-Moting is offside as he is denied by Navas.
Both defences still look so, so breachable. I would be surprised if there are not more goals.
- Yellow cardJérôme BoatengFC Bayern Munich
Boateng with a late lunge to earn him the game's next yellow card.
- OffÁngel Di MaríaParis Saint-Germain
- OnMoise KeanParis Saint-Germain
Poch wants more! Moise on for Di Maria. Another attacker on the pitch.
- Yellow cardJoshua KimmichFC Bayern Munich
Yellow card for Kimmich for protesting against what he felt was handball in the PSG box.
It is a pleasure to watch this man in action. World class goal from Mbappe on the counter. He carries the ball to the edge of the Bayern box, Boateng backs away, he cuts onto his right foot before whipping a brilliant strike in at the near post. Eight in eight in the Champions League for Mbappe.
- GoalKylian MbappéParis Saint-Germain
GGGGGOOOOOOAAALLLLLLL!!!!! Bayern 2-3 PSG. Would you believe it! Mbappe puts PSG back in front!
Nearly the half century...
Muller has blood pouring from the back of his head and he doesn't even realise!
- Yellow cardJulian DraxlerParis Saint-Germain
Draxler makes one too many tackles and earns himself a yellow card.
Cometh the hour, cometh Thomas Muller. Only his second Champions League goal of the season, but what an important one. Kimmich with the free-kick, and Muller guides a brilliant header into the net.
- GoalThomas MüllerFC Bayern Munich
GGGGGOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!! Bayern 2-2 PSG. It had been coming. Muller with the header.
Sane latches onto a ball over the top, but his pullback cannot be converted.
Coman tries to bring the ball down in the penalty area, but he cannot get the shot away.
All Bayern. You feel another goal is coming...
SAVES! Navas makes two stops to deny Alaba and Pavard, both relatively straight forward.
SAVE! That could have been game over. Poor defending again from Bayern, again, Neymar steals in, but Neuer this time stays big and makes the block.
Snow continues to fall here. All Bayern early in this second half.
Good start to the half from Bayern, as PSG just about scramble the ball clear after several last-ditch blocks.
- OffAbdou DialloParis Saint-Germain
- OnMitchel BakkerParis Saint-Germain
KICK OFF! We are back under way, with another change! Mitchel Bakker on for Diallo.
The cream always rises to the top.
- End of 1st Half
HT: Bayern 1-2 PSG. Well, that was quite something. Neymar has been at the forefront of this surprise scoreline in a match that has had everything. Bayern have been dreadful at the back, but Choupo-Moting's goal means the holders are still in this.
Two minutes of added time at the end of the first half.
PSG really digging deep defensively here. Even Neymar is mucking in.
- OffNiklas SüleFC Bayern Munich
- OnJérôme BoatengFC Bayern Munich
Another change! Three before half time! What a bonkers game. Sule is replaced by Jerome Boateng this time.
Whatever next? This game is breathless. The snow continues to fall, making it a little difficult to see the white ball in certain parts of the pitch...
This crazy game takes another twist! Poor marking this time from the makeshift backline of PSG, who leave Choupo-Moting free to brilliantly head home his third Champions League goal of the season. Pavard's cross was pinpoint, too.
- GoalEric Maxim Choupo-MotingFC Bayern Munich
GGGGGOOOOOAAALLLLLL!! Bayern 1-2 PSG. Game on! Choupo-Moting!
At least someone is happy.
- Yellow cardLucas HernándezFC Bayern Munich
Booking for Lucas Hernandez as he leaves his foot in on Di Maria.
Thought he couldn't cut it on the big stage?
- OffLeon GoretzkaFC Bayern Munich
- OnAlphonso DaviesFC Bayern Munich
What on earth is going on here? Another early change as Goretzka is replaced by Alphonso Davies. Didn't seemed to be injured...
- OffMarquinhosParis Saint-Germain
- OnAnder HerreraParis Saint-Germain
All happening here! Marquinhos, having just scored, limps off! Ander Herrera is the man to replace him!
Are the holders heading out here? Dreadful defending again from Bayern, as Neymar's ball over the top catches Bayern out, they leave Marquinhos unmarked, with the Brazilian having all the time in the world to control before picking his spot.
- GoalMarquinhosParis Saint-Germain
GGGGGGOOOOOOAAAALLLLL!!!! Bayern 0-2 PSG. Oh my! Marquinhos makes it two!
Long ball over the top for Coman, who seems to be clean through, but his touch lets him down and PSG recover.
PSG are on the ropes here. Navas is barking instructions at his backline.
Bayern really turning it up now. They are throwing everything at PSG.
SAVE! Navas again with the stop as he beats away Pavard's shot from distance.
CLOSE! Incessant pressure from Bayern. Leon Goretzka gets up to meet a Kimmich cross, heads down, but straight at Navas' legs. Big chance from a good position.
Dagba can't reach another ball out wide to Pavard, who's showing why he's been selected ahead of Davies so far. His ball into the box is cleared behind, another corner.
Chaos in the Bayern ranks. They are a mess at the back.
NO GOAL! Bayern are all over the place here! Draxler fires what he think is a second into the net, but Mbappe is ruled offside in the build up.
CHANCE! The ball drops for Muller just a few yards from the PSG goal, but the Bayern forward's effort is tame and straight at Navas.
What a start.
That is now 26 Champions League goals for Mbappe. Bayern look to get back into this.
Bayern shocked into action as Joshua Kimmich fires a free-kick into the wall.
Far too easy for the visitors. Swift counter, but Bayern are carved open, Neymar carries the ball forward, unselfishly lays it off for Mbappe, who drills under Manuel Neuer and into the net. What a start for Pochettino and PSG.
- GoalKylian MbappéParis Saint-Germain
GGGGGOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL!!!!! Bayern 0-1 PSG. Straight down the other end, Mbappe squeezes the ball home to shock the hosts!
CROSSBAR! From a corner, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting gets up, flicks a header for goal, but the ball clips the top of the crossbar and away from goal.
KICK OFF! We are under way in wintry conditions here in Munich.
Is this the night for one of the world's best starlets to show what he can do? Mbappe has been directly involved in 35 goals in 33 games for PSG in the Champions League (19 goals, 16 assists), while he’s scored six in seven games in the competition this season – already his joint-best goal tally in a single campaign (also 6 in 2016-17). We are minutes away!
Ahead of kick off, catch up with all the latest transfer talk from across Europe as Zinedine Zidane's future is thrown into doubt.
Not you, again. Mauricio Pochettino’s only previous Champions League match against Bayern Munich was with Spurs in October 2019, losing 7-2. The record for goals conceded in a manager’s first two games against an opponent in the competition is 12 - Aleksandr Yermakovich vs Shakhtar Donetsk and Brendan Rodgers vs PSG.
Goals in store. PSG have only failed to score in one of their last 43 games in the Champions League, with that coming in a 0-1 defeat in last season’s final. Since the start of the 2016-17 campaign, only Bayern Munich (2.8) have averaged more goals per game than Paris SG (2.5) in the competition.
His return to his very best form has been quite something.
This will be the 10th Champions League meeting between Bayern Munich and PSG - four Bayern wins, five PSG wins previously - and only the second in the knockout phase, after last season’s final - a 1-0 Bayern Munich win. Bayern have only lost more hampions League matches against Real Madrid (10) than PSG (5), while PSG's five wins against Bayern are their most against any opponent in the competition. Bayern have won their last three home Champions League games against PSG, since losing 1-0 in their first home game in November 1994 at the OIympiastadion, with George Weah scoring the winner.
NO LEWA, DRAXLER UP FRONT: It was already well documented, but just a reminder that Roberto Lewandowski will miss both legs through injury. A huge blow to the holders. The man to lead the line is former Stoke and PSG hitman Eric Choupo-Moting. There's no place in the side for Alphonso Davies - he is on the bench. Julian Draxler comes into the front three for PSG, in what is a very attack-minded XI, with Neymar, Angel Di Maria and Kylian Mbappe all starting.

Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Champions League quarter-final first-leg clash between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain from the Allianz Arena. The last meeting between these pair was a rather grand occasion - last season's Champions League final, which Bayern won 1-0. The reward for getting the better of a familiar face this time is a semi-final date with either Manchester City or Borussia Dortmund in late April.
