FT: Porto 0-0 Man City. That's it, all over, and top spot in Group C is City's. They remain unbeaten, but will feel hard done by having seen what they thought was a legitimate winner ruled out late on. Thanks for joining us. Goodnight.
City seem to have run out of ideas...
WIDE! Garcia arrives to meet a free-kick but it is just wise.
Five minutes of added time here.
Jesus gets up to win another header, but he cannot keep it down.
- OffOtavioFC Porto
- OnFábio VieiraFC Porto
Late change for Porto with Fabio Vieira on for Otavio.
Perhaps it was Rodri who was offside. It was marginal, let's put it that way.
My word, again we are seeing ridiculous decisions ruining games. It looks like it was Cancelo who was offside in the build-up, but to the naked eye, he seemed to be fine.
ER, WHAT? The goal has been ruled out for offside by the VAR, but not sure who has been penalised. Jesus scored from close range, after his header was tipped onto the crossbar, but he was certainly onside.
GGGGGOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLL!!! Porto 0-1 Man City. Jesus finally gets City in front.
Jesus makes a run in behind, but is forced out.
Ederson comes flapping and doesn't get there, but gets away with it.
SAVE! City stepping it up here Bernardo Silva drills for the bottom corner, but Marchesin makes a smart block.
- OffMoussa MarégaFC Porto
- OnEvanilsonFC Porto
Double change for Porto with Evanilson and Nanu on for Marega and Manafa.
- OffFerran TorresManchester City
- OnGabriel JesusManchester City
Change for City with Gabriel Jesus on for Torres.
MISS! How did that stay out? Sterling flicks on at the near post, Dias looks certain to score, on the slide, a yard out, but somehow hooks the ball backwards and Porto clear!
- Yellow cardMoussa MarégaFC Porto
Nasty looking challenge from Marega on Fernandinho. Yellow card. Could have been worse...
Elsewhere, Liverpool lead against Ajax.
Cancelo wins the ball well, Bernardo Silva latches onto the loose ball, but it his shot is blocked.
- OffJesús CoronaFC Porto
- OnLuis DíazFC Porto
Change here for Porto, with Luis Diaz on for Corona.
Fernandinho with the long ball over for Foden, who just cannot get his foot to it.
SAVE! Great ball from Foden through for Sterling, the City forward takes a good touch, prods for goal, but Marchesín makes a fine block. The rebound falls for Torres, but he takes to long and is tackled.
Corona whips a cross into the middle on the volley, but it is cleared.
Game is very scrappy now, with both sets of players doing their best to antagonise.
- Yellow cardRodriManchester City
Rodri leads with his arm, catches Moussa Marega, and earns himself a yellow card.
SHOT! Oliveira does well to dig out the shot, but that is an easy save for Ederson.
He has not had the best of games...
Rodri shows his strength to win the ball off Corona.
Cancelo twists and turns, pulls it back, but it is cleared.
- 2nd Half
KICK OFF! We are back up and running here. No changes for either side.
Elsewhere this evening.
- End of 1st Half
HT: Porto 0-0 Man City. Not the greatest game here, with only Raheem Sterling's effort off the line coming close to an opener.
Foden with the foul and Guardiola is not happy.
Rodri fires well over from range. Three minutes of added time here.
City are struggling to break down this Porto side, but it is understandable given the hosts basically have a back six.
Mateus Uribe leaves a foot in on Fernandinho, as some form of retribution. Get feisty this, as it was at the Etihad earlier in the campaign.
That pesky menace Corona is down, again, claiming an arm to the face from Fernandinho.
Porto captain Oliveira fires goalwards from range, but it lifts well over the crossbar.
OFF THE LINE! Sterling bursts into life from a short corner, fires for the bottom corner, it beats the goalkeeper, but the just recovered Sanusi clears off the line!
Break in play here as Sanusi needs to stretch his leg. Cannot surely be cramp at this strange!
Wonderful cross from Bernardo Silva who busts out the rabona, but Sterling cannot get there.
No shots from either side in the first half hour here.
Sterling looks to cut the ball back, but Leite cuts it out.
City pressing again here. Still to really unlock the hosts.
The offside flag denies Torres as City break light lightening after that Porto chance.
SAVE! Out of nowhere, Ederson is forced into a fine save from a Diogo Leite's flick from a long throw.
Break in play as the unfortunately-named Corona receives treatment.
On second viewing...
NO PENALTY! Nothing given, and looks to be fair. Not the best goalkeeping from the Brazilian.
VAR! VAR! Ederson comes flying out his goal to meet a long Porto pass, Otávio challenges for it, but Ederson clatters in to him. No penalty, but we go to VAR.
City are yet to create a real opening, for all their dominance. We have seen this before...
Porto scramble Oleksandr Zinchenko's low centre clear but it comes straight back. Relentless from City.
Great cross from Foden but it is just ahead of Torres.
Raheem Sterlng goes down under challenge from Chelsea loanee Malang Sarr, and immediate looks for the penalty, but it is a fair challenge.
Foden again in the thick of it, but his cross is too heavy for Ferran Torres.
Foden is already looking lively here. He drives down the touchline but is forced back.
City, as you'd expect, with the early possession.
- 1st Half
KICK OFF! We are up and running here.
So here we go. Top of the group is within sight for City.
Ahead of kick off, catch up with all the latest transfer talk from across Europe as Real Madrid plan a squad overhaul.
City have only lost one of their previous seven games against Portuguese opponents in European competition (W5 D1), however the defeat in this run came in their most recent away game against a Portuguese side (0-1 v Sporting CP in the UEFA Europa League).
City have fared much better on the continent this season...
Porto will be no pushovers this evening. They have won six of their last seven home games in the Champions League (L1), however the lone defeat in this run did come against another English opponent (1-4 v Liverpool in April 2019). Indeed, the only game the Portuguese side have failed to win in the competition this season was in the reverse fixture versus Manchester City (1-3).
What a stadium! Well, not for the traditionalists out there...
HEAD TO HEAD: Porto have lost their three previous meetings with Manchester City by an aggregate score of 2-9, conceding at least two goals in each game. City's only previous away game at Porto in European competition came in February 2012, with the Citizens winning 2-1 in the first leg of a Last 32 tie in the Europa League (they later progressed 6-1 on aggregate).
FODEN STARTS IN MUCH-CHANGED SIDE: While Pep Guardiola has made seven changes from the side who beat Burnley 5-0 at the weekend, the Spaniard has named a very strong XI this evening. Phil Foden gets a start, with Raheem Sterling and Ferran Torres completing the front three. Eric Garcia partners Ruben Dias in defence. Kevin De Bruyne is kept in reserve, just in case.
TEAM NEWS - MAN CITY: Ederson, Cancelo, Dias, Garcia, Zinchenko, Rodri, Fernandinho, Silva, Foden, Sterling, Torres....
