Hello and welcome to LIVE updates of Manchester City’s Champions League last 16 clash with Borussia Monchengladbach. The Citizens lead 2-0 from the away leg and will be confident of booking their spot in the quarter finals. Kick off at the Puskas Arena in Hungary is at 20:00 GMT.

Gladbach have lost their last six and have failed to win in their previous eight in all comps. This is a tall order to beat this City side right now. No wonder Rose suggested it would be sensational if his team were to triumph.

KICK OFF! Gladbach get us underway.

Florian Neuhaus: "City played with a very high line [in the first leg] and if we'd been better with the final ball in behind, there might have been more in it for us. We have to be braver in the second leg."

Nico Elvedi: "The season isn't over. It's not written in stone that this will be our last European game for the next year and a half. We're in a difficult period, but I'm confident that we can get back on track."

Oleks Zinchenko (who is on the bench tonight) on the City squad’s desire for more silverware: “Inside the dressing room, I can see the hungry eyes. Everyone is so hungry for the titles. Marco Rose: "When Man City have the ball, it's incredibly hard for any opponent. Their gegenpressing after losing possession is world-class and they move the ball forward very quickly. Pep has them playing almost total football."

Guardiola on Sterling: "He doesn't need to do it (Sterling tweeted to deny he’d had a disagreement with the manager after being left out v Fulham) Nothing happened. He was not selected, that's all. When you have 20 top-class players, it will always be unfair for some of them. I love them, they are the main reason why we are in the position. Raheem has been so important for the team and all of us."

As for the out-of-form Gladbach, they make three changes from the 3-1 loss at Augsburg last time out. Ramy Bensebaini, Denis Zakaria and Breel Embolo come in.

City make five changes from the weekend win over Fulham. Kyle Walker, Ilkay Gundogan, Riyad Mahrez, Kevin de Bruyne and Phil Foden all start with the likes of Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus on the bench.
