There is a VAR check for another Chelsea penalty but it is rightly turned down.
Giroud is finally taken off to Sevilla's relief and replaced by Timo Werner. Gilmour also comes back onto the field replacing Jorginho.
GOAL! Giroud sends the keeper the wrong way from the spot for his and Chelsea's fourth of the night.
PENALTY! Azpilicueta plays the ball into the box where Giroud is clumsily bundled over.
HAT-TRICK! Giroud heads home beautifully his countryman Kante's cross from the right flank. Pretty poor defending from the Sevilla defence as the centre backs let him get inbetween them, he is found by his compatriot and finishes with aplomb for a perfect hat-trick.
A little bit of a potential set-to between Kounde and Emerson after the latter's foul but the referee theatrically gets between them like a latter day Mills Lane. Nothing to see really.
Mount immediately has a chance but after a good chest control doesnt get a great contact and the Sevilla keeper pushes the effort away diving to his left.
Kovacic, Havertz and Pulisic are replaced by Ziyech, Kante and Mount for the Blues.
Vazquez is relaced by Munir for Sevilla
On the break Emerson gets to the by-line and pulls back to Pulisic whose effort is deflected away for a corner.
Good defending from Rudiger. A short corner saw Oscar swing a ball into the box but the centre back cleared in dominating fashion.
Emerson cuts inside and plays in Hudson-Odoi who had a lot of time to line up a shot to the far post with his left foot but sprays the ball high over the bar.
GOAL! A double from Giroud. A really lovely dink with his right foot over Pastor after being played in by Kovacic. He held off the defender, created a little space and then finished so coolly.
This time Hudson-Odoi beats Rekik on the outside and fizzes a bal between keeper and defence that a Chelsea forward really should have met.
Each time Chelsea counter they seem to have equal numbers against them but Hudson-Odoi twice fails to find a team-mate in the box from the right flank.
A blistering effort from Gudelj on the volley, after being set up by Navas, goes just over the bar.
Sevilla get the second half underway...
Frank Lampard will be very happy with this half. Chelsea have taken their foot off the pedal since the goal but still look the more dangerous side.
Rekik wins a header over Azpilicueta which sets up Rakitic in the area but he fires over the bar from a narrow angle.
Another yellow card, this time for Pulisic for a foul on Oscar.
Chelsea break quickly and after Havertz passes to Hudson-Odoi he is body-checked by Idrissi who picks up a yellow card.
Another free kick is given away by Chelsea a few yards up from the corner flag on the right hand side. Vazquez wins the header but it is blocked by Azpilicueta and cleared.
Rakitic's effort hits the wall and then there is an appeal for a handball which is checked by VAR but turned down.
Kovacic gives away a yellow card for a foul on Oscar in the D outside the penalty area.
Sevilla have had 60% of possession so far but Chelsea still look the more likely to score the next goal.
An impudent effort from En-Nesyri inside the centre circle has Mendy backpedalling but it goes wide of the goal.
Giroud plays the ball to Pulisic who passes out wide to Emerson but his ball across the six-yard box is not attacked by a Chelsea forward.
Pulisic looks pretty sharp, taking the ball down beautifully and turning on his right foot but sees his effort deflected over the bar.
Rudiger wins a header from the corner that looks destined for the back of the net but Sergi Gomez makes a retreating clearance.
Chelsea on the break had a three-on-two after Kovacic played in Pulisic and the American international took the ball outside the last defender but saw his effort saved by the feet of Pastor.
Good chance for El Nesyri that he puts into the side-netting just outside Mendy's post. Replays show it would have been ruled out for offside anyway.
Oscar puts another free kick into the Chelsea box which Vazquez meets with a header but it is easy for Mendy to gather.
Some goalmouth scramble there. Diego Carlos won a header and which ricocheted off Christensen and then Mendy dived bravely to deny Rekik an easy shot at golal but the ball then continued to bounce around in the box before being cleared.
En-Nesyri has his shirt pulled on the left hand side of the penalty area by Rudiger giving a free kick in a dangerous position.
Here is Giroud's goal.
Good delivery into the box from Rekik but it is cleared well by Kovacic.
GOAL! Another one in the competition for Olivier Giroud. Again it loked very easy, Havertz was allowed to run 40 yards with the ball then passed right to Giroud in the box and he turned on his left foot and calmly put the ball high into the inside side-netting.
It seemed very easy there. Hudson Odoi raced into the box then pulled back to Azpilicueta who found Pulisic eight yards out and he was allowed to turn but squeezed his shot a yard wide of the post.
Chelsea with all the early territorial advantage almost camped in the Sevilla half.
Havertz puts in what looks like an attempted cross but had the Sevilla keeper scrambling at his near post to push away.
Chelsea get us underway...
The teams are in the tunnel ready to enter the arena at the Estadio R. Sanchez Pizjuan now.
Here is Olivier Giroud's goal last week which secured their passage beyond the group stage.
Sevilla also have seven changes from the side who beat Kradnodar. So will this mean an open game with neither side bothered about being cagey. Here's hoping.
Seven changes in all from the starting eleven who played against Rennes last week.
Great stat this, been a long time since either has won a group.
Lampard really is taking this as an opportunity to get players match fit rather see this as a must-win it seems.
This is the side who will be taking on the Blues.
Frank Lampard has rung the changes with last week's hero at Rennes, Olivier Giroud starting, as is Christian Pulisic.
