Hello and welcome to Eurosport's coverage of the rearranged Champions League clash between Atalanta and Villarreal. I'm Ciaran Baynes and I'll be following the match with you.

On the steoke of half time a free kick is clipped into the Villarreal box and after ALbiol heads the ball up in the air, Zapata and Visiting keeper Rulli fliy at the ball and are both left sore.

GOAL FOR VILLARREAL! Lovely intricate football around the box from the Yellow Submarine with Capoue squeezing a ball through to Moreno who plays it wide to Moi Gomez. His pass back into the area is taken by Capoue and he crashes the ball inside the near post.

Zapata palms away Torres and gets a shot at goal but it is blocked by Albiol.

Ilicic does well weaving some space in the right hand side of the penalty area but theatrically throws himself on the floor as Estupinan approaches him trying to win a penalty, but fails to convince the referee of his claims.

The ball into the box is dangerous and Palomino doesn't trust the ball to get to Musso and heads clear.

Capoue is clipped 35 yards from goal giving Parejo an opportunity to put the ball into the box.

A dangerous low cross from Zapata on the right but Estupinan clears well.

Another fantastic pieces of skill from Danjuma and again Demiral is left flailing as he turns towards goal but his shot is easily saved by Musso.

Danjuma gets the ball in the left hand side of the area and befuddles Demiral before cutting the ball into the box which was cleared.

Both teams are playing an incredibly high line, Ilicic was caught offside a yard inside the Villareal half on this occasion.

Maehele puts a great chance wide but he was offside anyway.

Ilicic puts a free kick in from the right hand side of the box and Toloi meets it with a header but his effort is over the bar. The keeper was nowhere near getting to the cross. What a chance.

Hateboer gets to the by-line but his cross is punched away by Rulli.

GOAL FOR VILLARREAL! Atalanta with a very high line and a simple ball forward put Danjuma through on goal and he raced half the length of the field before nutmegging the keeper and putting his side in front.

Villarreal get the game underway...

Both could have made life easier for themselves if they had performed better in the last game. Atalanta were held to a draw at Young Boys and Villarreal lost at home to Manchester United.

We've had to wait for this game but it could be worth it, Atalanta need a victory in Bergamo, while a poijnt for the visitors would be enough.
