Another significant piece of team news this evening is Sergio Ramos (remember him?) is on the bench for PSG. He is yet to make his debut for the Ligue 1 club due a persistent calf problem. His last competitive match was for Real Madrid against Chelsea in the Champions League quarter-finals on May 5.

It's not been plain sailing for PSG in the Champions League. Two wins and two draws is perhaps not the form you'd expect from one of the favourites to win the entire competition. However, they produced a fine 2-0 win over City on Matchday 2 on September 28 so will feel confident of staking their claim as group winners this evening.

Mauricio Pochettino has responded to speculation he is interested in the Manchester United managerial vacancy. "Well, I don't understand," he told reporters in his pre-match press conference. "I think I was clear. I said to you that... I said to you all, my contract is 2023. This season and one season more. I don't say nothing different. And then, I am really happy in Paris Saint-Germain, that is a fact. It's not a thing to think or to... the fact is I am happy in Paris."

Verratti and Wijnaldum are both missing for PSG due to injury so it means starting spots for Paredes and Herrera in midfield. Mbappe has passed a late fitness test and will continue in the MNM front three. Messi and Mbappe both scored in PSG's 3-1 win over Nantes on Saturday.
