Real should have been three up, the ball fell to Diaz after Carvajal robbed a defender in the six-yard box but he seemed surprised the ball came to him and he fluffed his lines with the ball getting stuck under his feet.

Vinicius Jr comes off for Hazard.

GOAL FOR REAL! And what a goal. Asensio on the angle ot the penalty area, shifted the ball onto his left foot and then curled an effort that hit the inside of the post near the far top corner before flying into the net.

Kroos leaves the field, some fans are standing, they all should be, yet another super performance from the German. Rodrygo and Jovic also leave the field, Asensio, Valverde and Diaz come on.

Bastoni is booked for a challenge on Camavinga.

Camavinga comes on for Casemiro.

A lovely clip over the top from Casemiro sets up Rodrygo on the right flank and his shot from a narrow angle is arrowing into the far corner but Handanovic saves well.

Martinez goes off to be replaced by Gagliardini.

Rodrygo turns inside from the left flank and fires an effort at goal but wide of the far post.

And Barella is sent off. He sort of punched Militao in the leg from the floor. Have to think that's game over for Inter.

Yellow for Militao.

Barella reacts angrily to a challenge from Militao which saw him go into the advertising hoardings.

Calhanoglu, Brozovic and Dzeko come off with Vecino, Vidal and Sanchez coming on.

Perisic puts a good cross in from the left flank but Militao beats Martinez to the header.

Casemiro shoots from the edge of the box but the Inter keeper gathers comfortably.

Again Vinicius fouled on the left flank, this time by Skriniar just outside the penalty area.

Jovic almost catches Handanovic out with a shot from a narrow angle but the Inter keeper paws the effort away.

D'Ambrosio is booked for fouling Vinicius Jr to stop him getting into full speed on the left flank.
