No penalty! Andre Silva rifles a shot at goal, it appears to strike the hand of Verratti. VAR has a look but Leipzig aren't going to get their penalty.
An audacious effort from Messi, and if it proves to be decisive, what a way to score the winner.

- GoalLionel MessiParis Saint-Germain
GOAL! Paris Saint-Germain 2-2 RB Leipzig (Lionel Messi): Against the run of play, Mbappe and Messi drag PSG Level. The former is too fast for the Leipzig defence as he races into the box and pulls it back for Messi, who hits the post with his initial effort but is on hand to tap in the rebound. That's a huge goal for PSG!
- Yellow cardAchraf HakimiParis Saint-Germain
Hakimi's night goes from bad to worse as he's booked for a foul on Moriba. Navas is forced into a save from the resulting free-kick but the linesman's flag is raised for offside.
It's a change in personnel and system from Pochettino, with Hakimi now playing as a winger.

The finger of blame will be pointed directly at Hakimi, who - just like the first goal - was nowhere to be found as the cross was delivered.
- GoalNordi MukieleRB Leipzig
GOAL! Paris Saint-Germain 1-2 RB Leipzig (Nordi Mukiele): Leipzig are ahead; PSG are stunned! Once again the hosts are punished for slack defending as they fail to defend yet another cross. Angelino - that man again - finds space on the flank and his pinpoint cross is finished first-time by Mukiele!
The home supporters find their voice as PSG show signs of upping the ante. Messi unloads from the edge of the box but again Klostermann is in the way.
Verratti tries to make something happen as he drives into the penalty area. He tries to cut it back for Messi but Leipzig scramble the danger clear.
Messi is searching for a run behind the Leipzig defence but his floated cross is headed clear by Klostermann. It has been a night to forget for the 34-year-old so far.
Close! Laimer rolls a teasing ball across the face of goal. Andre Silva would have been perfectly positioned to tap it home if he hadn't stepped back just a moment earlier!
Gueye, who has just been booked, doesn't hold back in his challenge on Simakan, giving the referee a choice to make. This time he gets away with just a talking to!
Over! Nkunku's free-kick, from around 20 yards out, fails to trouble Navas.

Gueye kicks through the back of Andre Silva - that's a clumsy challenge and it's no surprise that the PSG midfielder is shown the yellow card. Not only that, he's conceded a free-kick in a dangerous area.
Messi had just one touch in the opposition half in the first half! Hakimi has been completely anonymous. Pochettino had issues to deal with at the interval; can his instructions spark a much-needed improvement?
- 2nd Half
Kick-off! Leipzig get the ball moving in the second half! There are no changes to inform you of.
Two legends of the game embraced before kick-off...
- End of 1st Half
Half-time: Paris Saint-Germain go in level with RB Leipzig at 1-1. It started so well for the hosts when they took the lead after a frantic start, but they've allowed their opponents back into the game.
Mbappe sparks another PSG attack with a dazzling piece of skill. Messi takes over but his shot is deflected behind for a corner. It comes to nothing. And there will be two minutes of added-time to play at the end of the first half.
Nkunku, who scored a hat-trick in the 6-3 defeat to Manchester City, finds space in behind PSG's backline but this time Kimpembe stands his ground and makes the block.
Just wide! Leipzig are proving a real handful on the break. PSG are left exposed from their own corner, as Haidara races down the flank and feeds the run of Nkunku. He skips past Kimpembe, creating the space for the shot but fires just wide of the far post he was searching for!
Messi's free-kick is dealt with by Orban, who is also enjoying quite the game in Leipzig's defence.
Simakan will now have to thread carefully as he receives a yellow card for a foul on Mendes on the left.
Simakan has managed Messi very well so far tonight and the Leipzig defender once again spoils what would have been a delightful one-two between Messi and Mbappe.

Leipzig have some defending to do now, which they do well. Mendes' cross is searching for Mbappe but Orban is alert to the danger, making the interception at the cost of a corner. The set-piece comes to nothing.
PSG do not deal well with crosses, and it was Hakimi who was caught napping on this occasion, the wing-back in no man's land as Angelino delivered the cross.
- GoalAndré SilvaRB Leipzig
GOAL! Paris Saint-Germain 1-1 RB Leipzig (Andre Silva): They sounded a warning and now Leipzig have their equaliser! Angelino finds himself in acres of space on the left. He looks up and drills a low ball across the face of goal setting Andre Silva up for a tap-in!
Off the post! Leipzig go agonisingly close to drawing level! Nkunku wins the header and knocks it down for Andre Silva, who controls and strikes low on the half volley, and only the woodwork denies the forward!
Desperate defending! Nkunku delivers a free-kick to the back post and it causes chaos in the PSG penalty area! The unmarked Mukiele heads it centrally, Orban can't apply the finish and in the end Marquinhos scrambles it behind for a corner.
Messi races through the centre, switches it to Mbappe and continues his forward run in search of the return pass. Simakan, however, tracks his run all the way and makes the interception.

It's the first time Mbappe has scored in this season's Champions League campaign.
Leipzig will be unhappy with the referee, but they've got to get their heads together as here come PSG again... Herrera's cross finds Mbappe, but he gets his header all wrong.
GOAL! Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 RB Leipzig (Kylian Mbappe): It's a goal on the counter-attack from the hosts! But it's not without controversy. Tracking back, Messi makes a questionable challenge on the edge of his own penalty area. The referee allows play to continue and PSG break, the ball shifted forward to Mbappe. He steps inside and rifles a right-footed shot into the bottom corner, beating Gulacsi at his near post.
Double save from Navas! The PSG goalkeeper has been busy in the opening stages and he's called into action twice more. Andre Silva's header is straight at him but he gathers himself quickly to smother Laimer's cross.
Over! Herrera delivers a deep cross that Draxler does well to connect with. But he can't get his shot under control, hooking the ball over the top of the bar with the outside of his boot.
Messi flicks the ball around an unassuming opponent before switching it to Mendes on the left channel. His cross is wayward, however.
Big chance for Leipzig! That could have been their moment! PSG's defence is exposed as Nkunku races forward, but his pass to the overlapping Laimer is poor and leaves his team mate with an awkward shot, which Navas comfortably saves.
Leipzig are without a win on the road in the Bundesliga this season. It'll take a heroic effort to end that run tonight.
An early glimpse of Mbappe's blistering pace as he races past Laimer down the left flank, but clearly none of his team mates are able to keep up with him as there's no one in the box to meet his cross!
Kick-off! PSG get us underway!
The famous Champions League theme song, who could ever tire of it? There's a great atmosphere at Parc des Princes!
Right, that's the build-up almost taken care of. We're just FIVE minutes from kick-off now at Parc des Princes! Will Messi and Mbappe prove too much for Leipzig or have the visitors a trick up their sleeve?
PSG are overwhelming favourites tonight, but Leipzig will take confidence from their 2-1 win over the French giants in the Champions League group stages in November 2020 - last season. Angel Di Maria gave the Parisians a sixth minute lead before the Bundesliga side fought back thanks to goals from Christopher Nkunku and Emil Forsberg. PSG would win the return fixture 20 days later.
Manchester City have cruised past Club Brugge 5-1 in today's earlier Group A game.
Defending is not Leipzig's strong point, their tactical approach built on the high-press and scoring goals aplenty. Do they have a Plan B? If they don't, Messi and Mbappe could have a field day.
Pochettino on Messi: "Leo shines by himself. He shone in Barcelona, [he] shines with Argentina and shines at PSG. He is absolutely adapted, he has the intelligence and the adaptation ability at the highest level. He is now more relaxed and with the experience of being at the club and in the city a few months he is very happy here."
Did you know? At the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain boast a near-perfect record in their 10 encounters with German clubs: eight wins, one draw and a defeat in their last one, against Bayern Munich (0-1) on 13/04/2021.
Will PSG manage to keep Kylian Mbappe? The Paper Round suggests he might stay...
Meanwhile, there are four changes from the Leipzig side that lost to Club Brugge. Angelino, Amadou Haidara, Tyler Adams and Andre Silva come in for Yussuf Poulsen, Emil Forsberg, Dominik Szoboszlai and Kevin Kampl, all of whom drop to the bench.
Not many managers have the problem that Mauricio Pochettino has: two world class goalkeepers competing for the No 1 jersey. Keylor Navas gets the nod ahead of Gianluigi Donnarumma tonight. That's one of two changes from the PSG side that defeated Manchester City, with Julian Draxler also coming in to replace the injured Neymar in attack. No MNM tonight then, it's, eh, DMM?
