Milan aim to take 'initiative' after fan discussion

The season is not finishing well for AC Milan.
After losing to Inter in the first leg last week, they saw their top-four hopes in Serie A suffer a major blow with a 2-0 defeat to 18th-placed Spezia.
The loss sees Milan fall four points behind fourth-placed Lazio with just three games left to play.
Some Milan players were involved in a pitchside discussion with seemingly unhappy fans following the result.
“I am not sure who started that, to be honest,” defender Simon Kjaer told DAZN.
“I saw it in a positive way, I have been surprised by how our fans have been close to us at all times, even when we played badly. I realise it might not be a good look, but they were right behind us.
“If I knew how to resolve this issue, we’d be in a different position this season. It is difficult to understand why we have struggled so much in this type of game and threw too many points away. It simply wasn’t enough and we need to improve this aspect of our performances.
“We are Milan, we ought to be more dominant in these matches and take the initiative.”
Milan will be hoping forward Rafael Leao will be fit to return.
Leao hasn’t featured since going off with injury in the 2-0 win over Lazio earlier this month.
