Luis Suarez is not the type of player who will allow himself to be intimidated even if he is constantly kicked by his opponents, according to Uruguay team-mate and River Plate midfielder Carlos Sanchez.

Sanchez and Suarez could come across each other in the Club World Cup final in Yokohama if Barcelona overcome AFC Champions League winners Guangzhou Evergrande on Wednesday and Argentina's River beat Sanfrecce Hiroshima in the second semi-final on Thursday.
Sanchez has apparently intimated that deploying roughhouse tactics against the former Liverpool is not the answer to halt him, and said. "Because even then, he does not stay down.
"I talk to him all the time, every day. Even here in Japan. We make jokes and they stay between ourselves.
"He wants to win and me too.
"It's (the tournament) a unique moment for me and I wouldn't change it for anything," said Sanchez, who will join Mexican club Monterrey after the tournament.
“We’re really enjoying ourselves, because we have the chance to crown an excellent year and make history. It’s going to be a real wrench to leave; I’m trying not to think about it too much."
