This will be remembered as the Andres Iniesta final. The Barcelona fans are still chanting his name as the players celebrate their Copa del Rey win on the pitch. This is the fourth successive season that the Catalans have won the competition and they have done so in incredible style. They were utterly dominant against a poor Sevilla side.

- End of 2nd Half
FULL TIME: Sevilla 0-5 Barcelona. BARCELONA HAVE WON THE COPA DEL REY!
Iniesta is in tears sitting on the Barcelona bench as the fans chant his name. This guy is a genuine legend. He will be so difficult to replace. The Catalans won't find another like him.
- OffAndrés IniestaFC Barcelona
- OnDenis SuárezFC Barcelona
STANDING OVATION! The whole Metropolitano, even the Sevilla fans, stand up to applaud one of the greatest Spanish players ever off the pitch. This will likely be his last cup final appearance for Iniesta at Barca.
This has been such an emphatic response to the criticsm angled at them in recent weeks from Barcelona. This performance shows just how far ahead of the rest they are in Spain.
- OffFranco VázquezSevilla FC
- OnNolitoSevilla FC
One final change for Sevilla, with Vazquez coming off and Nolito coming on in his place.
Iniesta has been fantastic this evening. Surely Valverde will take him off in these final few minutes to allow him to get the standing ovation from the fans that he deserves so much.
- OffPhilippe CoutinhoFC Barcelona
- OnOusmane DembéléFC Barcelona
Dembele is also brought off the bench by Barcelona. He replaces Coutinho for the final 10 minutes.
- OffPablo SarabiaSevilla FC
- OnMiguel LayúnSevilla FC
Sevilla make a change to their team, but it's all in vain now. Layun comes on.
It's been a difficult couple of weeks for Valverde, but this is an emphatic response from his team. This has been Barcelona at their best. On this basis, the players are behind their manager.
It looks like Barcelona will make another change at the next break of play. Dembele has been told to get ready and is now down on the touchline receiving instruction from Valverde.
- OffSergio BusquetsFC Barcelona
- OnPaulinhoFC Barcelona
Barcelona make their first change of the match and Paulinho comes on to replace Busquets.
OFF THE LINE! Sevilla come close to getting a consolation goal, with Sarabia heading towards goal after a cross from the right, but Pique was on hand to clear from underneath his own crossbar.
- Yellow cardSergio BusquetsFC Barcelona
... and Busquets gets a booking for his troubles as well. Wind up merchant.
- Yellow cardFranco VázquezSevilla FC
A scuffle in the centre circle results in Vazquez being shown a yellow card...
Sevilla look like they want to be anywhere other than the Metropolitano right now. They have been soundly beaten from the very first whistle. Barcelona have ran over the top of them.
Still no changes from Valverde. This match was won a long time ago, but the Barcelona boss is still to turn to the bench. Surely Iniesta will come off before the full time whistle? He always does.
That was a mark of the team spirit that exists at Barcelona. It's Iniesta's party, Suarez is on a hat-trick... and yet they allowed Coutinho to take that penalty kick to get his name on the score sheet.
- Goal by penaltyPhilippe CoutinhoFC Barcelona
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Sevilla 0 Barcelona 5 (69 mins - Philippe Coutinho pen). It's five for Barcelona! Coutinho stuck away the chance before the whistle was blown for a penalty, and so it's the Brazilian who steps up to the mark and tucks away the spot kick, sending Soria the wrong way.
PENALTY KICK TO BARCELONA! Lenglet handles the ball in the box, with the referee pointing to the spot, despite Coutinho finishing the play. Should Manzano have played advantage?
That's what Sandro gives you in the final third. He has the strength and the pace to give Barcelona problems, but Sevilla haven't been able to get him the ball as often as they'd like.
SANDRO SHOULD HAVE SCORED! That was the chance for Sevilla to at least get on the board. Sandro surged in behind his former team, but he shoots straight at Cillessen. Should have done better.
JUST WIDE! That wasn't far away from a sixth goal for Barcelona. Busquets curled the finish towards the target from the edge of the box, but a deflection took it just past the post.
How will Barcelona possible replace Iniesta next season? The playmaker is so crucial to the way they play. Messi will be robbed of his supply line. There's nobody else like him out there.
This has been a humbling experience for Sevilla. There's 35 points between them and Barcelona in the La Liga table and it has shown this evening. This has been one way traffic.
This could be a mauling for Sevilla now. They started the second half better than the first, but Barcelona are toying with them now. The Catalans could net a few more before the evening is out.
Iniesta has been exceptional this evening. He is still central to this Barcelona team. They are going to miss him desperately when he makes the move to China in the summer.
HOW DIDN'T THAT GO IN?! That was very nearly five for Barcelona. Soria made the initial save from the header, then stopped Umtiti from finding the net from close range. Yikes!
Iniesta looked rather emotional after scoring that goal. An announcement is expected on Monday that he will be leaving Barcelona at the end of the season. He knows what that goal means.
- GoalAndrés IniestaFC Barcelona
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Sevilla 0 Barcelona 4 (53 mins - Andres Iniesta). He's scored in what will likely be his last appearance in a cup final for Barcelona! Iniesta is slotted in by Messi and he rounds the goalkeeper and finishes into the empty net from a tight angle!
The problem for Barcelona is that there's a sense that they still haven't found top gear in this match. They were very good in the first half, but they are capable of even better.
This has been a better start to the half for Sevilla, but they have probably left themselves too much work to do if they are to find a way back into this game. Barcelona are sitting deep.
SEVILLA ATTACK! That was a half chance for Sevilla, who work the shooting chance for Vaquez just inside the Barcelona box. Alba was on hand to make the block on the slide, though.
Barcelona were incredible in the opening 45 minutes. It might have been their best 45 minute performance of the season up until now. Sevilla have been poor, but Barca have been great.
If Sevilla are to stand any chance of pulling off the impossible, they need a goal soon to give them a platform for the comeback. It's difficult to make the case that they can do it, though.
- OffJoaquin CorreaSevilla FC
- OnSandro RamírezSevilla FC
Sandro has been introduced at the break by Sevilla. It's a big ask for him against his former side.
- 2nd Half
The second half is under way! Barcelona have a 3-0 lead over Sevilla after the opening 45 minutes.

- End of 1st Half
HALF TIME: Sevilla 0-3 Barcelona. Incredible from the Catalans and this game is as good as over at the half time mark. Sevilla have been really poor, but they haven't been allowed to play.
There have been plenty questions asked of Barcelona and Valverde in recent weeks, but this has been an emphatic response from the Catalans. They have been sensational.
This Copa del Rey final is over. I know Roma overturned a three-goal deficit against Barcelona a couple weeks ago, but the Catalans are on a different planet to Sevilla here.
- GoalLuis SuárezFC Barcelona
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Sevilla 0 Barcelona 3 (40 mins - Luis Suarez). Barcelona are completely destroying Sevilla here! They have a third in the first half and that's surely game over! Suarez plays a one-two with Messi before sticking the ball in the bottom corner.
- Yellow cardSergio EscuderoSevilla FC
Escudero might have riden his luck there! Messi was clean through on the halfway line, but he was dragged down. One of those that warranted more than a yellow, but less than a red.
There were reports before the game that Valverde could be sacked in the event that Barcelona lost this match, but on the basis of this first half that isn't going to happen. Well on top.
Montella needs to get his team in for the half time break before this gets really ugly. This has been a disaster of a first half for Sevilla. They haven't even got close to Barcelona!
- Yellow cardGabriel MercadoSevilla FC
The first yellow card of the match is shown to Mercado for a pretty reckless tackle on Suarez.
MESSI WAS ONSIDE! Sevilla have just got away with one. Messi was onside as he was threaded clean through on goal, but the linesman stuck his flag up. The Argentine timed his run well!
Well, this game might be beyond Sevilla already. They haven't got going in this first half at all and Barcelona have ripped them to shreds. They have two and they could have had more.
- GoalLionel MessiFC Barcelona
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Sevilla 0 Barcelona 2 (31 mins - Lionel Messi). It's that connection again - Alba and Messi! Alba got to the byline and backheeled a pass to Messi, who made no mistake in lifting a finish into the roof of the net from about eight yards out! Barca might be out of sight already.
VAZQUEZ HEADER ON GOAL! That was a chance for Sevilla. Vazquez was picked out at the far post, where he had space, but he could only direct a powerful header straight at Cillessen.
Sevilla need the half time interval to regroup and come up with a new game plan because this isn't working for them at the moment. The problem is half time is 15 minutes away.
INIESTA OFF THE BAR! Inches away from a second goal for Barcelona. Iniesta took the strike from the edge of the box - it appeared to take a deflection off Coutinho - and came off the underside of the bar!
Coutinho has been excellent for Barcelona in this first half so far. The former Liverpool playmaker has really found his feet at his new club in the last few weeks. Already a key figure.
You don't see that very often. Messi took too long on the ball and allowed Sarabia to get back and make the challenge. The Argentine is complaining that he didn't get a shout.
DANGEROUS FROM NAVAS! That was good play from the former Manchester City winger. Navas fired a low cross into the box, but N'Zonzi just couldn't direct the shot on goal.
This has been a fantastic performance from Barcelona so far. Sevilla have been poor, but they haven't been allowed to play. The pressing game for the Catalans has been relentless.
Suarez gets a final warning from Manzano. The Barcelona striker has been charged up in the opening 20 minutes of this game. He kicked out at Mercado as he challenged for the ball.
This is interesting from Barcelona. Obviously they are known for their intricate passing style, but Valverde has clearly instructed his players to launch the ball over the top this evening.
CORREA CHANCE! That's the first sight of goal for Sevilla, who have responded well to losing the opener. Vazquez clipped a pass over the top for Correa, who had space. But he scuffed his volley well wide.
Replays are looking at the long ball from Cillessen that led to Coutinho being released in behind the Sevilla defence. The Dutchman certainly looked to pick out the Brazilian playmaker.
While Soria did well in the opening 10 minutes or so, he was partly at fault for that goal. He started to come off his line, then retreated. In hindsight, he should have committed to coming out.
That goal had been coming. Barcelona have started well, but Sevilla just haven't got going at all. They are struggling to get out of their own half. They need to regroup, quickly.
- GoalLuis SuárezFC Barcelona
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! Sevilla 0 Barcelona 1 (14 mins - Luis Suarez). Barcelona have taken the lead! Soria retreated allowing Coutinho to sprint through on goal after a long ball over the top. Coutinho squares the cross for Suarez in the middle who finishes into the empty net from close range.
Soria comes off his line to punch clear a Messi cross. The backup Sevilla goalkeeper will be pleased with his first 10 minutes or so. He has already made a couple of good interventions.
Sevilla need to gain a foothold in this game. They haven't got going yet. Barcelona are well on top, probing for a way through in the opposition half. A bit of a backs to the wall job for Sevilla so far.
GOOD SAVE! For the first time this evening, Messi strikes at the Sevilla goal. The strike, from a freekick, was heading for the top corner, but Soria made the diving save to stop Messi.
Coutinho has been favoured by Valverde for this game, with Dembele on the bench for the Catalans. The Frenchman has struggled for game time recently, while Coutinho is finding form.
Suarez looks fired up for this one this evening. First, the Barcelona striker complains to the linesman over an offside call. Then, he wrestles with Escudero from a corner kick.
Barcelona beat Celta Vigo during the week to tighten their grip on first place at the top of La Liga, but they are still smarting from their Champions League defeat to Roma a couple weeks ago.
Sevilla come into this game in really poor form. They haven't won a game since beating Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Champions League. They are without a win in seven.
Barcelona have started on the front foot. No chances in front of goal for either side in the early stages of the match, but it's the Catalans who are dictating things, controlling the ball.
So we're under way at the Metropolitano in Madrid. Both sides have lined up as expected, with Soria in goals for Sevilla and Cillessen playing for Barca. Both are second string keepers.
