Mancini eyes Coppa glory

Roberto Mancini has set his sights on Inter claiming the Coppa Italia in his first season in charge. Mancini's side hold the slender advantage of an away goal after the 1-1 first-leg stalemate in Sardinia, but the Inter coach is confident his side can go

"We want to reach the final and then win this competition," said Mancini. "The game against Cagliari is by no means a done deal, but our aims are clear."
Christian Vieri and Obafemi Martins are likely to lead the nerazzurri attack with Adriano consigned to the bench.
"Adriano is having a few problems scoring goals, but he has been playing non-stop for two years without a proper holiday. In the first four months of the season he'd get past his markers easily and score, but tiredness is obviously taking its toll."
A 0-0 draw will be enough to take Inter through, but Mancini knows Cagliari have high hopes of a Coppa win to secure
"The Sardinians have nothing to lose," Mancini warned. "They are safe from the threat of relegation and were close to capturing a UEFA Cup spot. They'll play without fear or tension, so Inter absolutely require a good performance."
Cagliari welcome back Antonio Langella from suspension, and he teams up with Mauro Esposito and Gianfranco Zola up front for the Sardinians.
