Yellow card! Sanchez is going to miss the second-leg following a lunge on Chiesa. Needless.
We're into the first of FOUR additional minutes.
Double Juve sub: McKennie and Kulusevski are replaced by Chiellini and Chielsa as Pirlo looks to protect this slender lead.
- Yellow cardArthurJuventus
Yellow card! Another booking, this time for Arthur for a late foul on Martinez.
- OffAlessandro BastoniInternazionale
- OnAndrea PinamontiInternazionale
Double Inter sub: Andrea Pinamonti and Stefano Sensi come on for Bastoni and Brozovic.
Juve have nearly everyone behind the ball as Inter apply the pressure in search of a late equaliser. There have been mistakes, but this has been a much more mature performance from Pirlo's side compared to that chastening league defeat to Inter two weeks ago.
Inter have their first bit of defending to do for about 10 or 15 minutes as Juve enjoy a spell of possession in the opponents' half.
Inter win a free-kick on the left flank. Eriksen's deep delivery is headed clear by Demiral, who has been excellent in defence for Juve.
Once again Juve lose the ball while trying to play out from the back. Eriksen has plenty of time to assess his options but scuffs a poor shot at Buffon.
Juve sub: Ronaldo, on a hat-trick, comes off shaking his head as he's replaced by Morata. It's a switch that makes sense, really.
Barella tries an acrobatic effort but fails to hit the target. Time is running out for Inter, but this one is far from over.
Inter sub: Christian Eriksen is on and Vidal is not best pleased to be coming off.
The game is threatening to open up now, and here come Inter again. Vidal is ponderous as he receives the ball on the edge of the box but gets his pass off to Martinez. His curler is never troubling Buffon, though.
Juve sub: Bernadeschi makes way for Danilo.
Buffon to the rescue! The Juve goalkeeper goes some way to making amends for his earlier mistake as he makes a big save to deny Darmian from point-blank range!
Here come Inter again, with Sanchez unloading with a shot from the edge of the box. De Ligt makes the block on this occasion as Juve continue to stand firm defensively.
Inter sub: A straight swap as Ivan Perisic comes on for Young, who has been disappointing.
Twenty five minutes remaining. Inter are enjoying the lion's share of possession and look the more likely to score. Can they find a leveller?
Sanchez runs into trouble on the edge of the Juve penalty area as another Inter attack collapses.
Conte has to act as the peacekeeper as McKennie and Barella collide while competing for an aerial ball at the touchline.
Off the line! Juve make a total mess of trying to play out from the back as Bentancur loses it. Sanchez pounces and with Buffon off his line Demiral has to come to the rescue with a goal-line block!
Martinez is tugged down by Demiral inside the penalty area, but he was in an offside position. Juve get lucky because the referee would have had a tough decision to make had he not been offside.
Save! Juve build a move splendidly from the back and move it to Bernardeschi on the edge of the box. His shot takes a deflection and Handanovic does well to push it past the post.
A number of players have been booked and are walking on eggshells, including Young, who commits yet another foul. A red card in this match feels inevitable.
Vidal, already on a yellow card, escapes a booking for a cynical foul on McKennie, putting a stop to Juve's counter-attack.
From the resultant free-kick, Young produces a smart fingertip save from Buffon.
Yellow card! De Ligt absolutely takes out Barella, who falls rather awkward, and the Juve defender is perhaps fortunate to see just a yellow card.
Kick-off! Inter get the ball rolling in the second half. No changes from either side at the break.
Handanovic won't want to watch this back...
Half-time: An incident-packed first half comes to an end, with a Cristiano Ronaldo double separating the sides.
- Yellow cardCristiano RonaldoJuventus
Yellow card! Ronaldo is booked for handball. He desperately tried to get on the end of McKennie's cross but couldn't quite get there, and then used his arm to make contact.
Just the one minute will be added on here.
Brozovic concedes possession as Juve counter, but play is stopped following a collision between Bentancur and Vidal.
Barella crosses, Buffon collects.
Bentancur tries to bend a shot to the far post but it's comfortable for Handanovic.
- Yellow cardArturo VidalInternazionale
Yellow card! Vidal fouls Ronaldo and doesn't help his case by shouting at the referee. No surprise that he goes into the book.
You can't take your eye off this contest! Two goalkeeping mistakes at either end. A Ronaldo double. And there's still 10 minutes or so remaining in this action-packed first half!
- GoalCristiano RonaldoJuventus
GOAL! Inter 1-2 Juventus (Cristiano Ronaldo): It's an absolute gift from Inter! Handanovic, for reasons unknown, races off his line as Bastoni fails to clear. Ronaldo pounces and finishes from a tight angle!
Skriniar pulls free at the back post to meet Sanchez's deep delivery but he can't direct his header on target.
- Yellow cardAlex SandroJuventus
Yellow card! Sandro accidently clips the heel of Darmian and goes into the book, as Inter win a free-kick on the right flank.
Sanchez gets in behind the Juve defence but shoots well wide. It wouldn't have counted as he was in an offside position, although replays show he may well have been on.
That changes things. Ronaldo had hardly been involved and Juve had hardly threatened. Since the goal, Inter are struggling to get out of their half.
- Goal by penaltyCristiano RonaldoJuventus
GOAL! Inter 1-1 Juventus (Cristiano Ronaldo, pen): Ronaldo steps up and confidently smashes it down the middle, leaving Handanovic with no chance! We're all level in this tie!
Penalty to Juve! The referee points to the spot and Young is subsequently booked!
VAR checks for a possible penalty! Young loses Cuadrado and subsequently grabs the Juve wing-back, bringing him down, in a desperate bid to stop him from meeting a cross. The referee runs over to the screen, and Juve could have a penalty here...
Skriniar stays on his feet and makes the interception as Ronaldo tries a one-two with Bernardeschi.
Tension is building as now Barella is penalised for a foul on Sandro.
Bentancur plays it short, Cuadrado eventually delivers into the box. Ronaldo feels he's being fouled, but play resumes. Alex Sandro then blazes his shot into row-Z.
Ronaldo has barely got started, but he comes deep and wins his side a free-kick. Juve will bring the big men from the back up to contest this delivery.
- Yellow cardMerih DemiralJuventus
Yellow card! That's a poor challenge from Demiral, who goes through the back of Sanchez and deservedly goes into the book. He thought he could nick it but gets it badly wrong.
That was a lovely team goal, but questions will be asked of Buffon. He ought to be saving those.
- GoalLautaro MartínezInternazionale
GOAL! Inter 1-0 Juventus (Lautaro Martinez): Inter spring a counter-attack and draw first blood! Sanchez holds the ball up following a beautiful pass from Vidal and feeds Barella, who drives down the right and centres it for Martinez, who gets in front of de Ligt. He gets his shot away, Buffon should save it but it squirms underneath him, and Inter are ahead!
Juve are knocking the ball around the back, trying to feel their way into this game.
Bernadeschi drives to the by-line, but his cross is over the head of everyone. He was also offside.
It has started like a game of chess. Vidal tries to pick out Darmian, who had made a darting run in behind the Juve defence, but Buffon is off his line to gather.
Inter have made hard work of getting to this stage, leaving it late to beat Fiorentina and AC Milan in the earlier rounds. It has been slightly more straight forward for Juve.
Juve have won each of their last five semi-finals, while Inter have crashed out at this stage three times in the last nine years.
Kick-off! Plenty of laughs and smiles shared between officials, Handanovic and Buffon at the coin toss, as Juve get us underway!
FIVE minutes until kick-off! It's Inter versus Juventus in this first-leg semi-final Coppa Italia encounter at San Siro. It's LIVE and it's NEXT!
Pre-match stat: Juventus have kept a clean sheet in 11 of their last 15 matches in the Coppa Italia.
Pirlo on the Serie A defeat to Inter (via Tuttomercatoweb): "It taught a lot. It taught that when we are not on the right track, we are not ourselves. From there we started again with great performances. We were lucky enough to immediately meet Napoli who immediately raised our attention. However, we must not settle down because we are only at the beginning of the second leg and we still have many games to play.”
Conte on the absence of Lukaku: "It’s not the first time Romelu is missing, there will be Alexis and Lautaro. Romelu is fine, he responded well with two goals to Benevento. Now he will be able to rest and prepare for the next Serie A match.”
Antonio Conte (via Rai Sport): "There must be great respect for a very strong team. We’ll need to make a great game. The qualification will be played over 180 minutes as it happened last season with Napoli, when we lost at home 1-0 and then drew 1-1 at San Paolo. We must try to do our best, we must be good."
Did you know? Only three of the last 19 meetings between Inter Milan and Juventus have been won by the visiting side.
Juventus have recorded four consecutive clean sheets since that chastening defeat to Inter - and have even won a trophy! So they come into this game in pretty good shape and will be confident of revenge. They meet Inter again next Tuesday with the winner set to meet Napoli or Atalanta in the Coppa Italia final.
These sides met just two weeks ago, with Inter strolling to a comfortable victory in Serie A.
For Juventus, Alex Sandro gets his first start since recovering from coronavirus. Dejan Kulusevski partners Cristiano Ronaldo in attack, but Aaron Ramsey and Paulo Dybala are injured. There are also starts for Matthijs de Ligt and Gigi Buffon.
The Nerazzurri are without the suspended Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi, so Alexis Sanchez steps up to partner Lautaro Martinez in attack, while Matteo Darmian comes in at full-back, with Ashley Young set to operate as a winger.
